Claims (24)
- 血液試料のヘマトクリットの測定方法であって、
被分析試料を静止状態に保つように構成された分析チャンバに前記試料を入れるステップであって、前記チャンバが第1のパネルの内表面と第2のパネルの内表面とにより画定され、双方のパネルとも透明であり、及び前記チャンバが、前記パネルの前記内表面間に延在する高さであって、前記試料中の少なくとも一部の赤血球が前記パネルの前記内表面の双方に接触し、且つ前記静止状態の試料中において赤血球が含まれない1つ又は複数の領域が前記内表面間に延在するような高さを有する、ステップと、
前記静止状態の試料の少なくとも一部分であって、前記内表面に接触している赤血球と1つ又は複数の赤血球間隙領域とを含む試料部分を撮像するステップであって、それにより前記試料の撮像された部分の光学濃度値を画像ユニット毎ベースで決定するステップと、
前記内表面に接触している赤血球と光学的に整列する画像ユニットの光学濃度値を選択して平均値を求め、それらの画像ユニットの平均光学濃度値に100%の上限値を割り当てるステップと、
前記1つ又は複数の赤血球間隙領域と光学的に整列する画像ユニットの光学濃度値を選択して平均値を求め、それらの画像ユニットの光学濃度値に0%の下限値を割り当てるステップと、
前記撮像された試料部分の各画像ユニットの光学濃度値に対し、前記上限値及び前記下限値の関数としての相対値を割り当て、前記相対値の平均値を求めることにより、前記試料のヘマトクリットを決定するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記画像ユニットが画素である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内表面の双方に接触している前記試料中の少なくとも一部の赤血球が、前記パネルの前記内表面の双方に個々に接触している赤血球を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記試料の少なくとも一部分を凝集剤と混和するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内表面の双方に接触している前記試料中の少なくとも一部の赤血球が、凝集した赤血球であって、前記パネルの前記内表面の双方に接触している凝集塊を含む、請求項4に記載の方法。

- 前記双方の内表面に接触している赤血球の少なくとも一部分の平均最大光学濃度を決定するステップが、前記双方の内表面に接触している赤血球の種々の群を用いて、前記平均最大光学濃度の標準偏差が所定の値以下となるまで反復して実施される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記パネルの前記内表面が実質的に平行であり、前記高さが約2μm〜6μmの範囲内である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記試料に抗凝固剤が添加される、請求項1に記載の方法。

照明器と解像装置とを含む撮像ユニットであって、前記チャンバ内に静止状態で存在する前記試料のうち、少なくとも前記内表面に接触している赤血球と1つ又は複数の赤血球間隙領域とを含む一部分を撮像して、かかる撮像された試料部分を表す画像信号を生成するように機能するユニットと、
前記画像信号を用いて、前記試料の撮像された部分の光学濃度値を画素毎ベースで決定し、及び前記内表面に接触している赤血球と光学的に整列する画素の光学濃度値を選択して平均値を求め、それらの画素の前記平均光学濃度値に100%の上限値を割り当て、及び前記1つ又は複数の赤血球間隙領域と光学的に整列する画素の光学濃度値を選択し、それらの画素の前記光学濃度値に0%の下限値を割り当て、及び前記撮像された試料部分の各画素の光学濃度値に対し、前記上限値及び前記下限値の関数としての相対値を割り当て、前記相対値の平均値を求めることにより、前記試料のヘマトクリットを決定するように構成されたプログラム可能分析器と、

- 画素の光学濃度値を選択して平均値を求めるように構成された前記プログラム可能分析器が、前記内表面の双方に接触している赤血球の少なくとも一部分の平均最大光学濃度を決定し、前記赤血球の少なくとも一部分における光学濃度の標準偏差を決定し、前記標準偏差が所定の値以下のとき、前記平均最大光学濃度を、前記内表面に接触している赤血球と光学的に整列する画素の平均光学濃度値として使用するようにさらに構成される、請求項18に記載の装置。
- 赤血球の少なくとも一部分の平均最大光学濃度を決定するように構成された前記プログラム可能分析器が、前記双方の内表面に接触している赤血球の種々の群を用いて、前記平均最大光学濃度の標準偏差が所定の値以下となるまでかかる決定を反復して実施するようにさらに構成される、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 前記パネルの前記内表面が実質的に平行であり、前記高さが約2μm〜6μmの範囲内である、請求項18に記載の装置。
- 一対の透明パネルにより画定される分析チャンバであって、前記パネルの内表面間に延在する高さであって、試料中の少なくとも一部の赤血球が前記内表面の双方に接触し、且つ静止状態の前記試料中において赤血球が含まれない1つ又は複数の領域が前記内表面間に延在するような高さを有する、分析チャンバ内に静止状態で存在する血液試料のヘマトクリットを測定するための装置であって、
照明器と解像装置とを含む撮像ユニットであって、前記チャンバ内に静止状態で存在する前記試料のうち、少なくとも前記内表面に接触している赤血球と1つ又は複数の赤血球間隙領域とを含む一部分を撮像し、かかる撮像された試料部分を表す画像信号を生成するように機能するユニットと、
