I−4:Naで中和され(52%)、1.0g/10分のMIを有するエチレン/メタクリル酸ターポリマー(9%MAA、23%n−ブチルアクリレート)。
EMA−1:3g/10分のMIを有するエチレン/メチルアクリレートジポリマー(30%MA)。
EBAGMA−1:70%のエチレン/25%のn−ブチルアクリレート/5%のグリシジルメタクリレートのターポリマー。
Nuc−1:Clariantから商品名LICOMONT NaV101で得られるモンタン酸ナトリウム。
AO−1:Chemturaから商品名ULTRANOX 626で入手可能なビス−(2,4−ジ−t−ブチルフェニル)ペンタエリスリトールジホスファイト酸化防止剤。
ワックス:AC Wax 16A(Honeywell,Morristown,NJ)として商業的に入手可能な加工ワックス。
MgSt:商業用ステアリン酸マグネシウム。
Claims (12)
- 熱可塑性組成物の重量を基準にして、約70〜約99.8%のポリエステル組成物および変性剤を含むか、またはそれらから製造された熱可塑性組成物であって、
ポリエステル組成物が、ポリ(トリメチレンテレフタレート)もしくはポリ(テトラメチレンテレフタレート)、またはそれらの組み合わせを含み、
変性剤が、エチレン酸コポリマーと、場合により、少なくとも1種の脂肪族単官能性有機酸と、少なくとも1種のエチレンエステルコポリマーまたは両方から誘導される少なくとも1種のアイオノマーを含み、
酸コポリマーが、エチレンの共重合されたコモノマーと、少なくとも1種のC3〜8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸の共重合されたコモノマーと、場合により、少なくとも1種のC3〜8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸エステルの共重合されたコモノマーを含み、
有機酸が、4〜36個の炭素原子を有し、C1〜8アルキル基によって置換されていてもよく、
エチレンエステルコポリマーが、エチレンエステルコポリマーの重量を基準にして、(i)約20〜約95%のエチレンの共重合単位と、(ii)0〜約25%の少なくとも1種の式CH2=C(R1)CO2R2のエステルの共重合単位と、(iii)0〜約80重量%の少なくとも1種の式CH2=C(R3)CO2R4のエステルの共重合単位とを含み、
(ii)および(iii)の両方が0重量%ではなく、R1が、水素または1〜6個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基であり、R2がグリシジル基であり、R3が、水素または1〜8個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基であり、そしてR4が、1〜8個の炭素原子を有するアルキル基であり、
変性剤中の組み合わせられた酸部分の約75%〜約100%が中和され、金属陽イオンとの塩を形成し、そして
陽イオンが、少なくとも約75当量%のマグネシウム、カルシウム、亜鉛またはそれらの組み合わせを含む熱可塑性組成物。 - 変性剤が有機酸を含み、有機酸が変性剤中に5〜60重量%で存在し、
酸コポリマーが、酸コポリマーの重量を基準にして、約3〜約35重量%のC3~8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸と、0〜約30重量%のC3〜8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸エステルとを含み、残りはエチレンであり、
C3〜8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸が、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸またはそれらの組み合わせであり、
存在する場合、C3〜8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸エステルが、アクリル酸またはメタクリル酸のC1〜C8アルキルエステルである
請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 酸コポリマーが、4〜25重量%のC3〜8α,β−エチレン系不飽和カルボン酸エステルを含む請求項1または2に記載の組成物。
- ポリエステル組成物がポリ(テトラメチレンテレフタレート)である請求項1、2または3に記載の組成物。
- ポリエステル組成物が、ポリ(トリメチレンテレフタレート)と、
熱可塑性組成物の全重量を基準にして、約0.005〜約1重量%の、カルボン酸のナトリウム塩を含む核形成剤と
を含む請求項1、2または3に記載の組成物。 - 核形成剤が、テレフタル酸一ナトリウム、ナフタレンジカルボン酸一ナトリウム、イソフタル酸一ナトリウム、C30〜C36単官能性有機酸の塩、またはそれらの2種以上の組み合わせであり、熱可塑性組成物の0.005〜1重量%の量で存在する請求項5に記載の組成物。
- 変性剤が、熱可塑性組成物の重量を基準にして、約5〜15重量%の、エチレン/メチルアクリレートジポリマー、エチレン/エチルアクリレートジポリマー、エチレン/n−ブチルアクリレートジポリマー、エチレン/グリシジルメタクリレートジポリマー、エチレン/n−ブチルアクリレート/グリシジルメタクリレートターポリマー、エチレン/n−ブチルアクリレート/一酸化炭素ターポリマーおよびそれらの2種以上の組み合わせからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のエチレンエステルコポリマーをさらに含む請求項1、2、3、4、5または6に記載の組成物。
- 変性剤が、熱可塑性組成物の重量を基準にして、約5〜15重量%の、エチレン/メチルアクリレートジポリマー、エチレン/グリシジルメタクリレートジポリマー、エチレン/n−ブチルアクリレート/グリシジルメタクリレートターポリマーまたはそれらの2種以上の組み合わせをさらに含む請求項1、2、3、4、5または6に記載の組成物。
- 変性剤が、エチレン/アルキルアクリレートジポリマーとエチレン/グリシジルメタクリレートジポリマーとの組み合わせ、エチレン/n−ブチルアクリレート/グリシジルメタクリレートターポリマーまたはその組み合わせを含む請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 変性剤が、熱可塑性組成物の重量を基準にして、約1〜約30重量%の、ナトリウム陽イオンを含有する1種以上の追加的なアイオノマーをさらに含む請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか一項で特徴づけられた組成物を含む造形品。
- 第1のポリエステル組成物の溶融粘度よりも少なくとも10%低い溶融粘度と、第1のポリエステル組成物の数平均分子量の少なくとも85%低い数平均分子量を有する第2のポリエステルを製造するために有効な条件下で、第1のポリエステル組成物を変性剤と溶融混合することを含む方法であって、第1のポリエステル組成物が、ポリ(トリメチレンテレフタレート)もしくはポリ(テトラメチレンテレフタレート)、またはそれらの組み合わせを含み、変性剤が、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項で特徴づけられたものである方法。
