図3において、枝バルーン18は枝カテーテルシャフト14を通して枝バルーン18に至る膨張流体により膨張される。枝バルーン18の基部60はステント20内に保持される。枝バルーン18の第1の部分56及び第2の部分58は、枝開口部74を通して枝血管30内に延びる。上述したように、第1の部分56の幅W1及び第2の部分58の幅W2は、枝血管30の口の幅W5より小さい。好適に、枝バルーン自体の材料を除き、枝バルーンの拡張に対する抵抗力は存在しない。枝開口部74を包囲する拡張可能なステント構造体76の部分によって拡張に対する抵抗力がいくらか作用される。第1の部分56及び第2の部分58は、主バルーン16から角度βをなして延びる。
Claims (25)
- 基端部及び先端部を有する主カテーテルシャフトと、
該主カテーテルシャフトの先端部から延びる主バルーンと、同主バルーンは基端部、先端部、及び主バルーン内部を有することと、
基端部及び先端部を有する枝バルーンとを備え、同枝バルーンは膨張状態にある場合に主バルーンに対して径方向において外方に延びることと、
該枝バルーンは膨張に先立って主バルーン内部内に位置されることとを特徴とする血管分岐部の処置のためのカテーテルアセンブリ。 - ステントを更に備え、同ステントは、ステントの基端側開放端部及び先端側開放端部の間における位置に位置される枝開口部を有することと、該主バルーンはステントの基端側開放端部から先端側開放端部までステント内を延びることと、該枝バルーンは膨張時にステントの枝開口部を通して延びることと、膨張に先立ってステント内に位置されることとを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 第1のガイドワイヤハウジングと、同第1のガイドワイヤハウジングは第1のガイドワイヤルーメンを形成し、主カテーテルシャフトの一部を通じ、且つ主バルーンの基端部及び先端部間を主バルーンを通して延びることと、

- 主カテーテルシャフトの少なくとも一部、並びに第1のガイドワイヤハウジング及び第2のガイドワイヤハウジングの少なくとも一部は第1のガイドワイヤルーメン及び第2のガイドワイヤルーメンを形成する1つのシャフトとして形成されることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。

- 基端側開放端部、先端側開放端部、及び枝開口部を有するステントを更に備え、該枝開口部はステントの基端側開放端部及び先端側開放端部の間の位置にてステントの側壁に形成されることと、該枝バルーンは膨張時に枝開口部を通して延びることとを特徴とする請求項17乃至19のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記鋭角の枝角度は、主バルーンの長手方向軸に対して25°乃至90°の範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項17乃至20のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記ステントの外側に延びる枝バルーンの部分の最大幅寸法は、枝血管の最大内側幅寸法より小さいことを特徴とする請求項17乃至21のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 前記主バルーンを通して延びる主ガイドワイヤルーメンを形成する主ガイドワイヤハウジングを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項17乃至22のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 枝ガイドワイヤルーメンを形成し、且つ先端部を有する枝カテーテルを更に備え、枝バルーンは枝カテーテルの先端部に位置されることを特徴とする請求項17乃至23のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
- 枝バルーンに固定される先端部、及び主バルーンに固定される基端部を有するテザー部材を更に備え、同テザー部材は枝バルーンが膨張される場合に鋭角の枝角度を部分的に形成することを特徴とする請求項17乃至24のいずれか一項に記載のカテーテルアセンブリ。
