Abstract
Description

量が約600〜約3,500または約4,000のポリエーテルグリコール、ポリカーボネートグリコール、およびポリエステルグリコールである。
適当なポリイソシアネート成分の例にはジイソシアネート、例えば1,6−ジイソシアナートヘキサン、1,12−ジイソシアナートドデカン、イソフォロンジイソシアネート、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、1,5−ジイソシアナート−2−メチルペンタン、ジイソシアナートシクロヘキサン、メチレン−ビス(4−シクロヘキシルイソシアネート)、テトラメチルキシレンジイソシアネート、ビス(イソシアナートメチル)シクロヘキサン、トルエンジイソシアネート、メチレンビス(4−フェニルイソシアネート)、フェニレンジイソシアネート、キシレンジイソシアネート、およびこのようなジイソシアネートの混合物が含まれる。例えばジイソシアネートは芳香族ジイソシアネート、例えばフェニレンジイソシアネート、トリレンジイソシアネート(TDI)、キシリレン
ジイソシアネート、ビフェニレンジイソシアネート、ナフチレンジイソシアネート、ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(MDI)およびこれらの組み合わせであることができる。
本発明によりウレタン重合体を製造するためのさらに他の原料として適したジオール化合物には、(i)ポリイソシアネートと反応し得る二つのヒドロキシ基、および(ii)中和すると塩を生じ得ることができ、且つポリイソシアネート(b)と反応し得ない少なくとも一つのカルボン酸基を有する少なくとも1種のジオール化合物が含まれる。カルボン酸基を有するジオール化合物の典型的な例には2,2−ジメチロプロピオン酸(DMPA)、2,2−ジメチロブタン酸、2,2−ジメチロ吉草酸、およびカプロラクトンを用いて得られるDMPA、例えばCAPA(R)HC 1060(Solvay)が含まれる。
酸基を塩に変える適当な中和剤の例には、第3級アミン(例えばトリエチルアミン、N,N−ジエチルメチルアミン、N−メチルモルフォリン、N,N−ジイソプロピルエチルアミン、およびトリエタノールアミン)およびアルカリ金属水酸化物(例えばリチウム、ナトリウム、およびカリウムの水酸化物)が含まれる。第1級および第2級アミンも酸基に対する中和剤として使用することができる。中和の程度は一般に酸基に関して約60〜約140%、例えば約80〜約120%である。
本発明に有用な連鎖伸長剤にはジアミン連鎖伸長剤および水が含まれる。有用な連鎖伸長剤の多くの例は当業界の通常の専門家には公知である。適当なジアミン連鎖伸長剤の例には次のものが含まれる:1,2−エチレンジアミン、1,4−ブタンジアミン、1,6−ヘキサンジアミン、1,12−ドデカンジアミン、1,2−プロパンジアミン、2−メチル―1,5―ペンタンジアミン、ジアミンネオペンチルグリコール、3−メチル−1,5−ペンタンジアミン、1,2−シクロヘキサンジアミン、1,4−シクロヘキサンジアミン、4,4’−メチレン−ビス(シクロへキシルアミン)、イソフォロンジアミン、2,2−ジメチル−1,3−プロパンジアミン、m−テトラメチルキシレンジアミン、および分子量が500より小さいJeffamine(R)(Texaco)。
適当な表面活性剤(サーファクタント)の例は次の通りである:陰イオン性、陽イオン性、または非イオン性分散剤または表面活性剤、例えばナトリウムドデシルサルフェート、ナトリウムジオクチルスルフォスクシネート、ナトリウムドデシルベンゼンスルフォネート、エトキシル化されたアルキルフェノール、例えばエトキシル化されたノニルフェノール、およびエトキシル化された脂肪アルコール、臭化ラウリルピリジニウム、ポリエーテルフォスフェートおよびフォスフェートエステル、変性されたアルコールエトキシレート、およびこれらの組み合わせ。
イソシアネート基に対するブロッキング剤は一官能性のアルコールまたは一官能性のアミンである。ブロッキング剤は予備重合体の生成前、生成中、または生成後において、脱イオン水のような水性媒質に予備重合体を分散させる前およびさせた後を含む任意の時点において加えることができる。或る具体化例においてはブロッキング剤は随時加えるかまたは加えないことができる。他の具体化例においては、ブロッキング剤は予備重合体の重量に関し約0.05〜約10.0%、例えば約0.1〜約6.0%、および約1.0〜約4.0%の量で含まれていることができる。ブロッキング剤は最終的な分散物の重量に関し約0.01〜約6.0%、例えば約0.05〜約3%、および約0.1〜約1.0%の量で含まれていることができる。
ルピペリジン。水に分散させる前のアミンブロッキング剤対予備重合体のイソシアネート基のモル比は一般に約0.05〜約0.50、例えば約0.20〜約0.40の範囲でなければならない。脱ブロッキング剤反応には触媒を使用することができる。
適当な発泡防止剤、または脱泡剤、或いは発泡抑制剤の例には次のものが含まれる:Additive65およびAdditive62(Dow Corning製のシリコーンをベースにした添加物)、FoamStar(R) 300(鉱油をベースにした、シリコーンを含まない脱泡剤、Cognis社製)およびSurfynolTM DF 110L(高分子量のアセチレングリコール非イオン性表面活性剤、Air Products & Chemicals製)。
。これらの試料を一晩乾燥させた後、「薄い」被覆物は殆ど力をかけずに引き離され、繊維を十分結合させるためには分散物の量が不十分であることを示唆した。「厚い」被覆物はゴム状に見え、触ると堅い感じがした。「中程度」の被覆物はポリウレタン尿素の充填量が最適であり、これは最小限度の実験で達成することができる。
Claims (22)
- (a)ハイ・ロフトの不織布、および
(b)ポリウレタン尿素組成物を含んで成ることを特徴とする製品。 - 該ハイ・ロフトの不織布はポリエステルの繊維性詰物を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製品。
- 該ハイ・ロフトの不織布は、ポリエチレン/ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン/ポリエステル、ポリプロピレン/ポリエステル、ポリエステル共重合体/ポリエステル、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選ばれる重合体の組み合わせを含んで成る二成分繊維を含んで成っていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製品。
- 該ポリウレタン尿素組成物は水性分散物を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製品。
- 該水性分散物は
(a)ポリエーテル、ポリエステル、ポリカーボネート、およびそれらの組み合わせから選ばれ、600〜4000の数平均分子量を有する少なくとも1種のポリオール、
(b)芳香族ジイソシアネート、脂肪族ジイソシアネート、脂環式ジイソシアネート、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選ばれるポリイソシアネート、
(c)(i)ポリイソシアネートと反応し得るヒドロキシ基、および(ii)中和すると塩を生じ得るがポリイソシアネートと反応することはできない少なくとも1種のカルボン酸基を含む少なくとも1種のジオール化合物、
(d)中和剤、;
(e)連鎖伸長剤;
(f)少なくとも1種の一官能性アミンまたは一官能性アルコールを含んで成るイソシアネート基に対するブロッキング剤;および
少なくとも1種の表面活性剤の反応生成物である重合体を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項4記載の製品。 - 該分散物は加えられた溶媒を実質的に含んでいないことを特徴とする請求項4記載の製品。
- 該ポリイソシアネートは4,4’−および2,4’−メチレンビス(フェニルイソシアネート)(MDI)異性体の混合物を含んで成り、4,4’−MDI異性体対2,4’−MDI異性体の比は65:35〜35:65であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の製品。
- ジオールは2,2’−ジメチロプロピオン酸(DMPA)、2,2’−ジメチロブタン酸、2,2’−ジメチロ吉草酸、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項5記載の製品。
- 該分散物は重量平均分子量が約40,000〜約250,000のポリウレタン尿素重合体を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項4記載の製品。
- 該分散物は重量平均分子量が約40,000〜約150,000のポリウレタン尿素重合体を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項4記載の製品。
- 該製品は型成形されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製品。
- 該製品はブラジャーのカップの形に型成形されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の製品。
- (a)ハイ・ロフトの不織布を提供し、
(b)該不織布をポリウレタン尿素組成物に接触させることを特徴とする製品の製造方法。 - 該ハイ・ロフトの不織布はポリエステル繊維の詰物を含んで成っていることを特徴とする請求項13記載の方法。
- 該接触は噴霧、パッディング、ディッピング、浸漬、被覆、およびこれらの組み合わせによって行われることを特徴とする請求項13記載の方法。
- 該ポリウレタン尿素組成物は水性分散物を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項13記載の方法。
- さらに(c)該製品を乾燥する工程を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項13記載の方法。
- 該乾燥は室温における乾燥、加熱による乾燥、およびこれらの組み合わせから選ばれることを特徴とする請求項17記載の方法。
- さらに(d)該製品を型成形する工程を含んで成ることを特徴とする請求項13記載の方法。
- 該製品は繊維布の二つの層の間で型成形されることを特徴とする請求項19記載の方法。
- 該型成形は加熱を含むことを特徴とする請求項19記載の方法。
- 該型成形は加圧を含むことを特徴とする請求項19記載の方法。
