Claims (9)
- レーザー溶接により点火プラグの貴金属チップを電極に結合する点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法であって、
上記レーザー溶接の時間に係るレーザービーム出力波形において、中間部が両端部に比べて出力が低いことを特徴とする、点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。 - 上記レーザービーム出力波形は、四角波形を基とし中間部が両端部に比べて出力が低いことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。
- 上記レーザービームの総入熱量は70J/cm2以上150J/cm2以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。
- レーザー溶接により点火プラグの貴金属チップを電極に結合する点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法であって、
上記レーザー溶接の時間に係るレーザービーム出力波形は、
上記レーザービーム出力が漸進的に増加する上昇部と、
上記上昇部以後に上記レーザービーム出力が一定に維持される出力維持部と、
上記出力維持部以後に出力が漸進的に減少する下降部と、
を含む台形波形であることを特徴とする、点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。 - 上記上昇部、上記出力維持部及び上記下降部のレーザービーム照射時間は実質的に同一であることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。
- 上記レーザービームの総入熱量は60J/cm2以上150J/cm2以下であることを特徴とする、請求項4または5記載の点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。
- レーザー溶接により点火プラグの貴金属チップを電極に結合する点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法であって、
上記レーザー溶接の時間に係るレーザービーム出力波形は、
上記レーザービーム出力が漸進的に増加する上昇部と、
上記上昇部以後に出力が漸進的に減少する下降部と、
を含む三角形波形であることを特徴とする、点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。 - 上記上昇部及び上記下降部のレーザービーム照射時間は実質的に同一であることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。
- 上記レーザービームの総入熱量は60J/cm2以上150J/cm2以下であることを特徴とする、請求項7または8記載の点火プラグ電極チップの溶接方法。
