Claims (27)
- 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の頭を受け入れるヘッドセットアセンブリと、
前記ヘッドセットアセンブリおよび前記患者の頭を繰返可能な位置に保持するように構成され、治療において使用される治療位置を探し出すための前記患者の鼻を通る枢支軸を提供し、前記治療位置を探し出す際に、前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルの位置決めを制御し、前記治療の間、前記TMSコイルを前記治療位置に保持するコイル位置決めアセンブリと、
を有する装置。 - 請求項1記載の装置において、前記装置は、前記患者の解剖学的ランドマークと位置合せされる位置で適用されるアライメント・ストリップをさらに有し、前記アライメント・ストリップは前記ヘッドセットアセンブリ内で前記患者の頭を位置合せするために少なくとも1つの位置合せマークをさらに含む。
- 請求項2記載の装置において、前記ヘッドセットアセンブリは、
前記患者の後頭部を受け入れるクッションと、
前記患者の頭を頷く位置及び左右位置で制止するアライメント紐と、を有する。 - 請求項3記載の装置において、前記アライメント・ストリップが正中矢状面を定義するために前記患者の鼻と位置合せされて前記患者の額に貼られ、前記アライメント紐は前記患者の後頭部から頭頂部を超えて前記アライメント・ストリップ上のアライメント位置までを巻きつける頭頂部紐と、患者の後頭部から前記患者の頭の各側面を囲むように前記アライメント・ストリップ上のアライメント位置まで巻きつける一対の横側紐とを有し、前記正中矢状面の左右方向で前記患者の顔が中央に配置されるようにする。
- 請求項4記載の装置において、前記横側紐はそれぞれ、前記アライメント・ストリップに対して前記ヘッドセットアセンブリを位置合せする位置合せマークを含む。
- 請求項3記載の装置において、前記アライメント紐は、着脱可能に前記アライメント・ストリップに接続されて、緊急時または治療休止の際に患者を前記ヘッドセットアセンブリおよびコイル位置決めアセンブリから素早く取り外すことを可能にする。
- 請求項6記載の装置において、前記ヘッドセットアセンブリは、着脱可能に前記コイル位置決めアセンブリに取り付けられる。
- 請求項1記載の装置において、前記ヘッドセットアセンブリは、前記繰返可能な位置に対する前記治療位置の座標を記録できる記録ラベルを含む。
- 請求項1記載の装置において、前記装置は、前記患者を受け入れ、前記コイル位置決めアセンブリに所定の角度でロックすることにより、前記ヘッドセットアセンブリの位置を前記コイル位置決めアセンブリに対し、また前記患者の頭の前頭面を固定する椅子をさらに有する。
- 請求項9記載の装置において、前記所定の角度は、約30°〜45°の範囲にある。
- 請求項1記載の装置において、前記コイル位置決めアセンブリは、前記TMSコイルを前記治療位置へ移動して、前記治療位置で前記TMSコイルをサポートするロボットのアライメント・アームを含む。
- 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の頭を受け入れるヘッドセットアセンブリと、
前記ヘッドセットアセンブリおよび前記患者の頭を繰返可能な位置に保持するように構成され、前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルの位置決めを制御し、前記TMSコイルを治療において使用される治療位置に保持するコイル位置決めアセンブリと、を有し、
前記コイル位置決めアセンブリは、前記患者を通る正中矢状面に平行方向において前記繰返可能な位置に対して前記TMSコイルの位置を調整する第1の調整機構と、前記患者の鼻を通る枢支軸、前記患者の頭の運動限界位置および前記正中矢状面に対する前記治療位置を含む左の上斜面の角度の方向に前記TMSコイルを調整する第2の調整機構と、前記上斜面の前後距離を調整する第3の調整機構と、を含む装置。 - 請求項12記載の装置において、前記コイル位置決めアセンブリは、前記繰返可能な位置に対する前記座標系中の前記TMSコイルの治療位置のロケーションを記録するための位置記録要素を少なくとも1つさらに有し、前記ロケーションは、前記第1、第2、及び第3の調整機構のそれぞれの設定によって特定される。
- 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の頭を受け入れるヘッドセットアセンブリと、
前記ヘッドセットアセンブリおよび前記患者の頭を繰返可能な位置に保持するように構成され、前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルの位置決めを制御し、前記TMSコイルを治療において使用される治療位置に保持するコイル位置決めアセンブリと、を有し、
前記コイル位置決めアセンブリは、前記TMSコイルをサポートするジンバル装置と、前記ジンバル装置用のカウンターバランスとを含む装置。 - 請求項14記載の装置において、前記カウンターバランスは、少なくとも1つのカウンターウェイトと、少なくとも1つの定荷重ばねと、作用力調整可能なカムとを有する。
- 請求項14記載の装置において、前記ジンバル装置は、前記TMSコイルを前記患者の頭に対して取り付けできるように前記TMSコイルのロールを調整する機構を含む。
- 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の頭を受け入れるヘッドセットアセンブリと、
前記ヘッドセットアセンブリおよび前記患者の頭を繰返可能な位置に保持するように構成され、前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルの位置決めを制御し、前記TMSコイルを治療において使用される治療位置に保持するコイル位置決めアセンブリと、を有し、
前記コイル位置決めアセンブリは前記TMSコイルをサポートするボールとソケットを有する装置。 - 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
繰返可能な位置で患者の頭を保持するように構成されたヘッドレストアセンブリと、
前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルを位置決めし、治療において使用される治療位置に前記TMSコイルを保持する位置決め装置と、を有し、
前記位置決め装置は、前記患者を通る正中矢状面に平行方向において前記繰返可能な位置に対して前記TMSコイルの位置を調整する第1の調整機構と、前記患者の鼻を通る枢支軸、前記患者の頭の運動限界位置および前記正中矢状面に対する前記治療位置を含む左の上斜面の角度の方向に前記TMSコイルを調整する第2の調整機構と、前記上斜面の前後距離を調整する第3の調整機構とを含む、コイル位置決めアセンブリ。 - 請求項18記載のアセンブリにおいて、前記位置決め装置は、前記繰返可能な位置に対する前記座標系内の前記TMSコイルの治療位置のロケーションを記録するための少なくとも1つの位置記録要素を有し、前記ロケーションは、前記第1、第2、及び第3の調整機構のそれぞれの設定によって特定される。
- 請求項18記載のアセンブリにおいて、このアセンブリはさらに前記患者を受け入れて、前記ヘッドレストアセンブリに所定の角度でロックすることにより、前記ヘッドセットアセンブリの位置を前記位置調節器に対して前記患者の頭を前頭面に対して固定するための椅子をさらに有する。
- 請求項20記載のアセンブリにおいて、前記所定角は、約30°〜45°の範囲にある。
- 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の鼻を通る正中矢状面を定義するように、固定された左右位置で前記患者の頭を固定するように構成されたヘッドレストアセンブリと、
前記正中矢状面に対して前記経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルを位置決めし、前記経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルを治療において使用される治療位置に保持する位置決め装置と、
前記治療において使用される治療位置を探し出すための前記患者の鼻を通る枢支軸を定義するために、前記患者の目の端と前記位置決め装置とを位置合わせするように構成された位置合わせマークを含む照準合わせ機構と、を有するコイル位置決めアセンブリ。 - 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の頭を繰返可能な位置に保持するように構成されたヘッドレストアセンブリと、
前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルを位置決めし、治療中に使用される治療位置に前記TMSコイルを保持する位置決め装置と、を有し、
前記位置決め装置は、前記TMSコイルをサポートするジンバル装置と、前記ジンバル装置用のカウンターバランスとを含む、
コイル位置決めアセンブリ。 - 請求項23記載のアセンブリにおいて、前記カウンターバランスは、少なくとも1つのカウンターウェイトと、少なくとも1つの定荷重ばねと、作用力調整可能なカムとを有する。
- 請求項23記載のアセンブリにおいて、前記ジンバル装置は、前記TMSコイルが前記患者の頭に取り付けられるように前記TMSコイルのロールを調整する機構を含む。
- 経頭蓋磁気刺激(TMS)コイルと、
患者の頭を繰返可能な位置に保持するように構成されたヘッドレストアセンブリと、
前記繰返可能な位置に関して定義された座標系内で前記TMSコイルを位置決めし、治療中に使用される治療位置に前記TMSコイルを保持する位置決め装置と、を有し、
前記位置決め装置は、前記TMSコイルをサポートするボールとソケットを有する、コイル位置決めアセンブリ。 - 請求項22記載のアセンブリにおいて、前記位置決め装置は、前記TMSコイルを前記治療位置へ移動して、前記治療位置で前記TMSコイルをサポートするロボットのアライメント・アームを含む。
