Abstract
【解決手段】排気管の途中に装備したパティキュレートフィルタ12(排気浄化材)の上流にバーナ14を設け、該バーナ14に対しディーゼルエンジン1(エンジン)と共用の燃料タンク16からフィード配管17を介して燃料を供給し且つ余剰の燃料をリターン配管18を介して前記燃料タンク16に戻すようにした後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止方法に関し、車両走行中に外気温度が所定温度以下となっている条件下でフィード配管17及びリターン配管18を介し定期的に燃料をバーナ14と燃料タンク16との間で循環する。

Claims (4)
- 排気管の途中に装備した排気浄化材の上流にバーナを設け、該バーナに対しエンジンと共用の燃料タンクからフィード配管を介して燃料を供給し且つ余剰の燃料をリターン配管を介して前記燃料タンクに戻すようにした後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止方法であって、車両走行中に外気温度が所定温度以下となっている条件下でフィード配管及びリターン配管を介し定期的に燃料をバーナと燃料タンクとの間で循環することを特徴とする後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止方法。
- 外気温度が所定温度以下となっている条件下で定期的に燃料を循環する時のインターバルを外気温度に応じて変更することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止方法。
- 排気管の途中に装備した排気浄化材の上流にバーナを設け、該バーナに対しエンジンと共用の燃料タンクからフィード配管を介して燃料を供給し且つ余剰の燃料をリターン配管を介して前記燃料タンクに戻すようにした後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止装置であって、外気温度を検出する温度センサと、フィード配管の途中に装備されて燃料をバーナへ送り込むポンプと、前記温度センサからの検出信号を入力し且つ該検出信号に基づき外気温度が所定温度以下となっている条件下でフィード配管及びリターン配管を介し定期的に燃料をバーナと燃料タンクとの間で循環し得るよう前記ポンプを駆動せしめる制御装置とを備えたことを特徴とする後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止装置。
- 外気温度が所定温度以下となっている条件下で定期的に燃料を循環させるためのポンプ駆動のインターバルを外気温度に応じて変更し得るよう制御装置を構成したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の後処理バーナシステムの燃料凍結防止装置。
