Abstract
【解決手段】周方向溝と横溝により形成されたブロック6は、横溝がタイヤ軸方向線に対して5〜40度の角度θで傾斜することにより、該横溝と周方向溝との交差部が鋭角をなす鋭角交差部7aと、鈍角をなす鈍角交差部7bとを具える。横溝に面するブロック壁面に、少なくとも2本かつ0.3〜2.0mmの巾のスリット9が設けられる。前記鋭角交差部7aから、該鋭角交差部7aに最も近い鋭角側のスリット9aの巾中心までのブロック縁6eに沿った鋭角側長さP2を、前記鈍角交差部7bから、該鈍角交差部7bに最も近い鈍角側のスリット9bの巾中心までのブロック縁6eに沿った鈍角側長さP1よりも大とした。

前記ブロックは、前記横溝がタイヤ軸方向線に対して5〜40度の角度θで傾斜することにより、該横溝と周方向溝との交差部が鋭角をなす鋭角交差部と、鈍角をなす鈍角交差部とを具え、
しかも前記ブロックの横溝に面するブロック壁面に、少なくとも2本かつ0.3〜2.0mmの巾のスリットが設けられるとともに、
前記鋭角交差部から、該鋭角交差部に最も近い鋭角側のスリットの巾中心までのブロック縁に沿った鋭角側長さP2を、前記鈍角交差部から、該鈍角交差部に最も近い鈍角側のスリットの巾中心までのブロック縁に沿った鈍角側長さP1よりも大としたことを特徴としている。
図1は、本発明の空気入りタイヤが重荷重用ラジアルタイヤである場合のトレッドパターンの展開図である。図1に示すように、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1は、トレッド面2に、タイヤ周方向にのびる周方向溝3と、この周方向溝3と交差する向きにのびる横溝4とを具え、これによりトレッド面2に複数のブロック6を形成している。
長さWの0.15倍以上、さらには2.0倍以上がより好ましく、又上限は0.3倍以下が好ましい。
JASOC606に規定するタイヤ単品での単体台上試験に準拠し、無響室内において、リム(7.50×22.5)、内圧(900kPa)、荷重(23.7kN)、速度(40km/h)の条件にてドラム上でタイヤを走行させ、タイヤ中心から1m横、高さ0.25mの位置に設置したマイクロフォンにより騒音レベル(O.A.)値を測定した。そして、従来例の騒音レベルとの差で比較した。マイナス(−)は騒音レベルが下がったことを意味する。

Claims (5)
- トレッド面に、タイヤ周方向にのびる周方向溝と、この周方向溝と交差する向きにのびる横溝とを設けることにより、該トレッド面に複数のブロックを形成した空気入りタイヤであって、
前記ブロックは、前記横溝がタイヤ軸方向線に対して5〜40度の角度θで傾斜することにより、該横溝と周方向溝との交差部が鋭角をなす鋭角交差部と、鈍角をなす鈍角交差部とを具え、
しかも前記ブロックの横溝に面するブロック壁面に、少なくとも2本かつ0.3〜2.0mmの巾のスリットが設けられるとともに、
前記鋭角交差部から、該鋭角交差部に最も近い鋭角側のスリットの巾中心までのブロック縁に沿った鋭角側長さP2を、前記鈍角交差部から、該鈍角交差部に最も近い鈍角側のスリットの巾中心までのブロック縁に沿った鈍角側長さP1よりも大としたことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記スリットは、タイヤ周方向の長さLが2.0〜6.0mmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ブロック壁面内で隣り合うスリットの巾中心間のブロック縁に沿った間隔Pは、前記ブロック縁の長さWの0.1〜0.4倍の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記間隔Pは、前記鈍角側長さP1以上、かつ鋭角側長さP2より小としたことを特徴とする請求項3記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記横溝は、前記角度θを25度以上としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜4の何れかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
