Abstract
【解決手段】平均長が300〜500nmの多角板状の複数の銀結晶粒子を配合してエンジンオイル用添加剤を構成する。また、基油と、前記エンジンオイル用添加剤とを配合することによりエンジンオイルを構成する。また、エンジンオイルへの添加剤の添加方法にいおいて、エンジンオイルに、添加剤として、300〜500nmの長さを有する多角板状の複数の銀結晶粒子を添加する。

Description
本発明の実施例1に係るエンジンオイル用添加剤は、鉱物油100mLに対して300〜500nmの長さを有する多角板状の複数の銀結晶粒子を0.25g分散させたものである。
この実施例1のエンジンオイル用添加剤によるエンジンのトルク及び馬力の増減を確認するため、シャシー・ダイナモ試験を行った。シャシー・ダイナモ試験は、計測器に自動車を取り付け、回転数、エンジン馬力、トルク等の自動車性能を計測する試験である。試験は、約1500〜7000rpmの回転数におけるトルク及び馬力をニュージーランド製のダイナパック(商品名)により計測することにより行った。
実施例1のエンジンオイル用添加剤による燃費の増減を確認するため、複数種の試験自動車を用意し、実施例1のエンジンオイル用添加剤の添加前後の燃費を測定した。具体的には、ガソリンタンクをガソリンで満タンにした後、試験自動車を十分に走行させ、その走行距離を、再びガソリンタンクをガソリンで満タンにしたときの給油量で除して、1L当たりの走行距離を算出することにより、燃費を測定した。この結果を以下表5に示す。なお、試験自動車の車種及び型式は、以下表5に示す通りである。また、エンジンオイルには、粘度が0W−50のものを用いた。実施例1のエンジンオイル用添加剤のエンジンオイルへの添加量は、試験自動車(エンジン)1台に対し100mL(銀結晶粒子0.25g)とした。
Claims (5)
- 300〜500nmの長さを有する多角板状の複数の銀結晶粒子を含むことを特徴とするエンジンオイル用添加剤。
- 請求項1に記載のエンジンオイル用添加剤であって、
鉱物油、化学合成油、又は前記鉱物油と前記化学合成油との混合油に、前記銀結晶粒子が分散されていることを特徴とするエンジンオイル用添加剤。 - 基油と、請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンオイル用添加剤とを含むことを特徴とするエンジンオイル。
- 請求項3に記載のエンジンオイルであって、
当該エンジンオイル4L当たりの前記銀結晶粒子の含有量が0.25〜5gであることを特徴とするエンジンオイル。 - エンジンオイルへの添加剤の添加方法であって、
エンジンオイルに、添加剤として、300〜500nmの長さを有する多角板状の複数の銀結晶粒子を添加することを特徴とする添加方法。
