Abstract
【解決手段】SiC粉末と、該SiC粉末間を相互に結合する熱硬化性樹脂とからなる三次元骨格構造を備え、開気孔率が2〜25%である多孔質SiC成形体。細孔径1〜30μmの細孔が全細孔の70%以上であり、閉気孔率が5%以下である。この多孔質SiC成形体を非酸化雰囲気中で脱脂して得られたプリフォ−ムに、Siを浸透させることによりSiC/Si複合材料を得る。

Description
(1)SiC粉末と、該SiC粉末間を相互に結合する熱硬化性樹脂とからなる三次元骨格構造を備え、開気孔率が2〜25%である多孔質SiC成形体。所定範囲に開気孔率が調整された多孔質SiC成形体を用いることにより、SiC/Si複合材料のメタルベインを解消することができる。
Claims (5)
- SiC粉末と、該SiC粉末間を相互に結合する熱硬化性樹脂とからなる三次元骨格構造を備え、開気孔率が2〜25%である多孔質SiC成形体。
- 細孔径1〜30μmの細孔が全細孔の70%以上である請求項1記載の多孔質SiC成形体。
- 閉気孔率が5%以下である請求項1または2記載の多孔質SiC成形体。
- 請求項1〜3記載の多孔質SiC成形体を非酸化雰囲気中で脱脂して得られたプリフォ−ムに、Siを浸透させてなるSiC/Si複合材料。
- SiC粉末及び熱硬化性樹脂を含む混合物を熱プレス成形して、開気孔率2〜25%の多孔質SiC成形体を得る成形工程と、前記多孔質SiC成形体を所定雰囲気で脱脂してプリフォームを得る脱脂工程と、前記プリフォームに、Siを浸透させる浸透工程と、を含むSiC/Si複合材料の製造方法。
