Abstract
【解決手段】2Dアレイ振動子10は、複数のサブアレイに区分けされる。代表的にSA1からSA4までの4つのサブアレイが拡大図示されている。さらに、2Dアレイ振動子10は、複数の振動子領域に分割される。一点鎖線により分割された(I)から(IV)の4つの領域が4つの振動子領域を示している。そして、各サブアレイごとにそれに属する複数の振動素子の各々に対する遅延量を定めた遅延パターンに基づいて、各サブアレイに応じた遅延処理が実行される。その際、各振動子領域ごとにそれに属する複数のサブアレイに対して共通の遅延パターンが設定される。例えば、サブアレイSA1とサブアレイSA2は、同じ振動子領域(IV)に属しているため、サブアレイSA1とサブアレイSA2に対して共通の遅延パターンが設定される。

Claims (9)
- 複数の振動素子で構成されて複数のサブアレイに区分けされたアレイ振動子と、
各サブアレイごとにそれに属する複数の振動素子の各々に対する遅延量を定めた遅延パターンに基づいて、各サブアレイに応じた遅延処理を実行するサブアレイ処理部と、
を有し、
前記アレイ振動子が複数の振動子領域に分割され、各振動子領域ごとにそれに属する複数のサブアレイに対して共通の遅延パターンが設定される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記複数の振動子領域の各々に対して仮想的な平面が対応付けられ、各振動子領域ごとに、対応付けられた仮想的な平面に基づいて前記共通の遅延パターンが設定される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項2に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記複数の振動子領域の各々に対してビーム偏向角度が割り当てられ、各振動子領域ごとに、割り当てられたビーム偏向角度に応じて前記仮想的な平面が対応付けられる、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記各振動子領域ごとに、それに属する複数のサブアレイに対して前記共通の遅延パターンが設定され、さらに、それら複数のサブアレイの各々に対して個別のメイン遅延量が設定される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項4に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記複数のサブアレイの各々に対して設定される前記個別のメイン遅延量に基づいて、ビーム深さが制御される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記アレイ振動子は、2次元的に配列された複数の振動素子で構成される2次元アレイ振動子である、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項6に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元アレイ振動子は、振動子面の中央から放射状に伸長される仮想的な境界線により複数の振動子領域に分割される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項7に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元アレイ振動子は、振動子面の中央を取り囲むように設定される仮想的な境界線により複数の振動子領域に分割される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項6から8のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記2次元アレイ振動子は、3つ以上の振動子領域に分割される、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。
