Abstract
【解決手段】座部シート内に互いに離隔状態に配置されたメイン電極31a及びサブ電極31cと、車両ボディとメイン電極31aとの間に離間して配置されたガード電極31bとを有する静電センサ31と、切換部13、電流検出抵抗器RSa〜RSc、マルチプレクサ43、電流検出部44及び電圧変換部45を有するセンサ特性計測部14と、CPU15とを備える。CPU15でガード電極31bに流れる電流を、0と判定した際にメイン電極31aの静電容量の測定値M1を乗員判定データとし、負方向と判定した際にメイン電極測定値M1にガード電極31bの静電容量の測定値G1を加算した値を乗員判定データとし、正方向と判定した際にメイン電極測定値M1からガード電極測定値G1を減算した値を乗員判定データとする。

Claims (1)
- 車両のシート内に互いに離隔状態に配置されたメイン電極及びサブ電極と、車両接地部に導通する車両ボディとメイン電極との間に離間して配置されたガード電極とを有する静電センサと、
前記静電センサのメイン電極、サブ電極及びガード電極に選択的又は全てに交流電圧信号を印加し、この印加に応じてメイン電極、サブ電極又はガード電極に発生する電流を電圧値に変換するセンサ特性計測部と、
前記センサ特性計測部で前記電圧値を検出した結果から、当該センサ特性計測部で検出されるメイン電極とガード電極の電圧が同電位の場合にガード電極に流れる電流を基準点とし、メイン電極の電位がガード電極の電位よりも高い場合にガード電極に流れる電流の方向を負方向とし、メイン電極の電位がガード電極の電位よりも低い場合にメイン電極に流れる電流方向を正方向とし、ガード電極に流れる電流が前記基準点の場合に当該センサ特性計測部で検出されるメイン電極の電圧値を乗員判定データとし、ガード電極に流れる電流が前記負方向の場合に当該センサ特性計測部で検出されるメイン電極の電圧値にガード電極の電圧値を加算した値を乗員判定データとし、ガード電極に流れる電流が前記正方向の場合に当該センサ特性計測部で検出されるメイン電極の電圧値からガード電極の電圧値を減算した値を乗員判定データとする演算制御手段と
を備えることを特徴とする静電式乗員検知装置。
