Description
Claims (10)
- シャフトに取り付けられた高速フライホイールに用いるシールであって、ハウジング及び該ハウジング内にあって流体で満たされることが可能な体積を有する空洞と、該空洞の両側に設けられ、前記シャフトと接触して取り囲むリップシールと、前記空洞に流体を注入するための手段と、前記空洞への前記流体の注入中に前記空洞から空気を排出できるようにするための手段とを備え、それにより、前記流体は前記シャフトに対する気密シールを形成することができることを特徴とするシール。
- 前記空洞の前記体積を減少させるためにリング状の挿入体が配設されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシール。
- 前記挿入体の中央部は円形であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシール。
- 前記孔は前記シャフトに対して偏心していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシール。
- 前記流体の膨張に応じて移動することが可能なピストンが配設されることを特徴とする先行するいずれかの請求項に記載のシール。
- 前記ハウジングの少なくとも一部分はアルミニウム等の軽合金で形成されることを特徴とする先行するいずれかの請求項に記載のシール。
- 前記シール手段は、PTFEを含むポリマーブレンドで形成されたリップシールであることを特徴とする先行するいずれかの請求項に記載のシール。
- 先行するいずれかの請求項に記載のシールを含むフライホイール。
- シャフトに取り付けられたフライホイールにシールを形成する方法であって、
注入ニップル及びブリードニップルを開くステップと、
前記シャフトと接触する2つのリップシールの間に形成された空洞が満たされるまで、前記注入ニップルに流体を注入し、流体が前記空洞に注入されるにつれて前記ブリードニップルを介して前記空洞から空気が排出されるステップと、
前記注入ニップル及び前記ブリードニップルを閉じるステップとを備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 添付の図面を参照して実質的に説明された高速フライホイール。
