Abstract
Description
本発明は、電気硝子体切除術ハンドピースに関し、特に、本発明は、小形で軽量である使い捨て硝子体切除術ハンドピースに関する。
硝子体は、目の中心を満たす通常透明のゲル状物質である。目に影響を与えるある種の問題については、硝子体切除術を施し、すなわち、硝子体の全体または一部を外科的に除去することが必要になることがある。硝子体切除術を行うときには、硝子体切除術ハンドピース、光導体、および注入配管または注入口を含む様々な器具が使用される。硝子体切除術ハンドピースは、目の硝子体のすべてまたは一部を除去するカッタを含む。光導体は、光源として使用され、注入配管または注入口は、流体を交換し、目の中を適切な圧力に維持するのに使用される。
本発明の各実施形態は使い捨て電気硝子体切除術ハンドピースに関する。ハンドピースは、たとえば20ゲージや、より小さい器具(たとえば、23、25ゲージ)に有用である。ハンドピースは、小形であり費用効率が高い。本発明の一実施形態によれば、小形化は、術具ハンドルに組み込まれたカッタチップを含む使い捨て器具によって実現される。他の実施形態では、プラスチック製の構成部材および安価な使い捨てモータを使用する術具によって実現される。使い捨てでプラスチック製であると記載されているが、装置が使い捨てである必要はなく、プラスチック以外の任意の適切な材料、たとえば金属で作ることができることを理解されたい。駆動機構および硝子体切除チップは、既存のハンドピースと同等以上の性能特性を有する。さらに、硝子体切除術ハンドピースは、たとえば、約3000cpm〜約10000cpmまたは約600cpm〜約6000cpmのような動作速度範囲にわたってほぼ一定の吸引デューティサイクルを維持する。
Claims (18)
- 回転運動を行うように構成されたモータと、
ハンドルと、
カッタチップと、
吸引配管と、
前記モータおよび前記カッタチップに結合され、前記モータの作動時には前記カッタチップに係合するように伸長し、前記モータの静止時には前記吸引配管を通した吸引を可能にするために後退するように構成されたクラッチ機構と、を有する硝子体カッタ。 - 前記クラッチ機構は、溝を含む構成部材を有する、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記溝は正弦状の溝である、請求項2に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記モータは、使い捨てモータである、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記カッタチップは、前記ハンドルに組み込まれている、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記吸引配管は前記ハンドル内を通されている、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記吸引配管は前記モータの周りを通されている、請求項6に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記カッタチップの速度を検知する手段をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記カッタの前記速度を検知する前記手段はセンサおよび磁石を有する、請求項8に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 大電流引き込みを監視することによってモータの障害を検出する手段をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- モータの回転運動を振動直線運動に変換するように構成された振動駆動機構をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記ハンドルの振動を軽減する手段をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記ハンドルの振動を軽減する前記手段は、前記モータを囲むゴムまたは発泡体のチューブを有し、前記チューブは前記ハンドルによって前記モータに押し付けられる、請求項12に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記ハンドルの振動を軽減する前記手段は、前記モータを囲む圧縮されたシリコーンチューブである、請求項12に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記モータから前記ハンドルへの伝熱を防止する手段をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 前記モータから前記ハンドルへの伝熱を防止する前記手段は、前記モータを囲む絶縁材料を有する、請求項15に記載の硝子体カッタ。
- 回転運動を行うように構成されたモータと、
ハンドルと、
カッタチップと、
吸引配管と、
前記モータおよび前記カッタチップに結合され、前記モータの作動時には前記カッタチップに係合するように伸長し、前記モータの静止時には前記吸引配管を通した吸引を可能にするために後退するように構成され、互いに対して回転可能な第1および第2の構成部材を有するクラッチ機構と、を有する硝子体カッタ。 - 前記クラッチは、前記第1の構成部材の溝に入ったボールをさらに有し、前記第2の構成部材は、前記第1の構成部材の前記溝内に前記ボールを維持する、請求項17に記載の硝子体カッタ。
