Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ハウジングとこのハウジングに装着された磁気スイッチング素子とからなり 、この磁気スイッチング素子は、 磁石と、 外科用デバイスを制御するための制御信号を生成するよう形設された磁気セン サと、 磁気センサによって生成された制御信号の値を変化させるべく、磁石の磁界が 磁気センサから磁気的に結合しない第1位置と磁界を磁気センサと磁気的に結合 させる第2位置との間を移動するためにハウジングに装着されたアクチュエータ とを含む、外科用デバイスを制御するための装置。 2.軟磁性部材を更に備え、アクチュエータの移動が磁石と軟磁性部材との間の 相対移動を起こさせる請求の範囲第1項の装置。 3.磁石が、アクチュエータの移動が磁石の移動を起こさせるようにアクチュエ ータに結合される請求の範囲第2項の装置。 4.軟磁性部材が、アクチュエータが第1位置にあるときには磁石によって作ら れた磁界を実質的に吸収し、アクチュエータが第2位置にあるときには磁石によ って作られた磁界を実質的に吸収しないよう形設された請求の範囲第2項の装置 。 5.磁石が、磁気センサから物理的に隔離されている請求の範囲第1項の装置。 6.磁石が、ハウジングの壁によって磁気センサから分離され た請求の範囲第5項の装置。 7.ハウジングが、モータを内設する外科用ハンドピースのハウジングからなり 、磁気センサによって生成された制御信号がモータの動作を制御するためのもの である請求の範囲第1項の装置。 8.軟磁性部材が、円筒状開口を有するスイッチ底部からなり、アクチュエータ が第1位置にあるとき、磁石が円筒状開口内に位置し、アクチュエータが第2位 置にあるとき磁石の一部が、円筒状開口を越えて延びる請求の範囲第2項の装置 。 9.軟磁性部材が、更に、磁石に固定されたスイッチカバーからなる請求の範囲 第8項の装置。 10.スイッチカバーを円筒状開口から離れるよう付勢すべく形設されたばねを 更に備えた請求の範囲第9項の装置。 11.スイッチの底部とスイッチカバーが、機械的に連結された請求の範囲第1 0項の装置。 12.スイッチ底部における円筒状開口が、ハウジングの外面の凹所の上に位置 し、その凹所が、磁石を受承するよう形設されかつ閉じた底部を有する請求の範 囲第8項の装置。 13.磁気センサが、ホール効果デバイスからなる請求の範囲第1項の装置。 14.磁気センサが、リードスイッチからなる請求の範囲第1項の装置。 15.複数の磁気スイッチング素子を備えた請求の範囲第1項の装置。 16.磁気センサが、ハウジング内に配置され、実質的に平らな回路板に装着さ れた請求の範囲第1項の装置。 17.アクチュエータが第1位置にあるときの磁石の位置と、アクチュエータが 第2位置にあるときの磁石の位置との間の距離が、0.1インチ以下である請求 の範囲第3項の装置。 18.アクチュエータが第1位置にあるときの磁石の位置と、アクチュエータが 第2位置にあるときの磁石の位置との間の距離が、約0.06インチである請求 の範囲第1項の装置。 19.磁石が、ハウジングの外側に配置された請求の範囲第1項の装置。 20.磁気センサが、ハウジングの内側に配置された請求の範囲第1項の装置。 21.ハウジングと、このハウジングに装着された磁気スイッチング素子とから なり、この磁気スイッチング素子が、 磁石と、 この磁石を覆う軟磁性材料のスリーブと、 外科用デバイスを制御するための制御信号を生成するよう形設された磁気セン サと、 磁気センサによって生成された制御信号の値を変化させるべく、磁石が軟磁性 部材のスリーブ内に配置され、磁石の磁界が磁気センサと磁気的に結合しない第 1位置と、磁石の一部が軟磁性部材のスリーブから延び、磁界が磁気センサと磁 気的に結合される第2位置との間を移動するためにハウジングに装着されたアク チュエータとを含む、外科用デバイスを制御するため の装置。 22.外科用器具と共に請求の範囲第1項の装置を含む外科用システム。 23.キット形態の請求の範囲第22項の外科用システム。 24.実質的に添付図面を参照してここに記載されたような装置。
