1個以上のブッシュの底に配置された多数の開口部から出ている多数の溶融ガラス流を繊細化して、連続フィラメントからなる1個以上のウェブの形態にして、次に集成して、動いている支持体上で回収された1個以上のストランドにする方法
を用いて、上述の組成物を有するガラスから得られる。これは、ストランドが巻き取りパッケージの形態で回収されるときには回転支持体、又はストランドがそれらを繊細化するのにも役立つ部品によって刻まれるときには、若しくはストランドがマットを形成するためにそれらを繊細化するのに役立つ部品によってスプレーされるときには、並進運動する支持体でよい。
‐ブッシュ内のガラスの温度に近い、ISO7884−2標準法で測定されて摂氏温度で表された、Tlog2.5及びTlog3で表された、102.5ポアズ及び103ポアズの粘度にそれぞれ対応する温度;
‐できる限り高くなければならない形成マージンを示す、温度Tlog3と液相線温度(Tliqで表される)との差;
‐Tlog7.6で表され、摂氏温度で表された、107.6ポアズの粘度に対応する、軟化温度又はリトルトン軟化点(この値は繊維の耐温度性を示す);
‐塩酸液(1NのHCl)に室温で100時間浸漬した後に50%の繊維体積分率を含むビニルエステル樹脂(Derakane(登録商標)411−350の名でダウ・ケミカル(Dow Chemical)社により市販されている)を主成分とする複合材料の3点曲げにおける破壊応力の値(この応力はMPaで表され、酸性媒体中の繊維の耐腐食性を特徴付ける);並びに
‐NF B30−103標準法によって測定され、10−7/℃で表された、ガラスの熱膨張率
を示す。
比較例C2とほぼ同じ磨耗特性がある。一方で、それらは著しく低い熱膨張率を有するので、それらを含む複合材料の寸法安定性を向上させることを可能にする。それらが15〜25℃高い形成マージン(より大きな繊維化能力を反映している)を有することも指摘される。
Claims (9)
- ガラスストランドであって、その化学組成が実質的に酸化ホウ素を含まず、そして下記の構成物質を、重量%で表された下記の範囲:
SiO2 55〜65
Al2O3 9〜16
CaO 15〜26
MgO 1〜5
BaO+SrO 0.5〜5
Na2O+K2O+Li2O 0〜2
TiO2 0〜1
ZnO 0〜2
ZrO2 0〜2
で含む、ガラスストランド。 - SiO2含有量が60〜62%である、請求項1に記載のガラスストランド。
- Al2O3含有量が10〜12.5%である、請求項1又は2に記載のガラスストランド。
- CaO含有量が21.8%以下である、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のガラスストランド。
- MgO含有量が2%以上である、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のガラスストランド。
- CaO+MgOの合計値に対するSiO2含有量の比が2.4以上である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のガラスストランド。
- BaO+SrOの合計値が0.5〜1.5%である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のガラスストランド。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のガラスストランドを含む、ガラスストランド並びに単数又は複数の有機物及び/又は無機物の複合材料。
- 1個以上のブッシュの底に配置された多数の開口部から出ている多数の溶融ガラス流を繊細化して、連続フィラメントからなる1個以上のウェブの形態にする工程、及び
前記フィラメントを集成して、動いている支持体上で回収される1個以上のストランドにする工程、
を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のガラスストランドの製造方法。
