Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.実質的にホウ素を含有しない組成を有し、実質的に59.0〜62.0重量% のSiO2、20.0〜24.0重量%のCaO、12.0〜15.0重量%のA l2O3、1.0〜4.0重量%のMgO、0.0〜0.5重量%のF2、0.1〜2 .0重量%のNa2O、0.0〜0.9重量%のTiO2、0.0〜0.5重量%の Fe2O3、0.0〜2.0重量%のK2O、及び0.0〜0.5重量%のSO3から なる連続ガラス繊維であって、組成物が、(i)2100°F(1149℃)〜2500° F(1371℃)の成形温度において1000ポアズの粘度、及び(ii)成形温度より も100°F(38℃)以上低温の液相線温度を有する、前記連続ガラス繊維 。 2.MgO含量が2.0〜3.5重量%である、請求項1記載の連続ガラス繊維。 3.SiO2含量が59.0〜61.0重量%、CaO含量が21.5〜22.5重量 %、Al2O3含量が12.7〜14.0重量%、MgO含量が2.5〜3.3重量 %、Na2+K2Oの総含量が0.1〜2.0重量%、TiO2含量が0.0〜0. 6重量%であって、成形温度が2200°F(1204℃)〜2400°F(1316℃)であ り、成形温度と液相線温度との差が125°F(52℃)以上である、請求項 1記載の連続ガラス繊維。 4.SiO2含量が59.5〜60.5重量%、CaO含量が21.7〜22.3重量 %、Al2O3含量が13.0〜13.5重量%、MgO含量が2.7〜3.3重量 %であって、Na2+K2Oの総含量が0.5〜1.0重量%である、請求項3記 載の連続ガラス繊維。 5.SiO2含量が60.1重量%、CaO含量が22.1重量%、Al2O3含量が 13.2重量%、MgO含量が3.0重量%であって、Na2+K2Oの総含量が 0.8重量%である、請求項3記載の連続ガラス繊維。 6.TiO2含量が0.6重量%以下である、請求項1記載の連続ガラス繊維。 7.TiO2含量が0.00〜0.04重量%である、請求項6記載の連続ガラス繊 維。 8.F2含量が0.00〜0.04重量%である、請求項7記載の連続ガラス繊維。 9.組成が実質的にTiO2を含有しない、請求項1記載の連続ガラス繊維。 10.組成が実質的にF2を含有しない、請求項1記載の連続ガラス繊維。 11.組成が実質的にSO3を含有しない、請求項1記載の連続ガラス繊維。 12.SO3、F2及びTiO2含量が、各々0.05重量%以下である、請求項1記 載の連続ガラス繊維。 13.成形温度と液相線温度との差が150°F(66℃)以上である、請求項1 記載の連続ガラス繊維。 14.SiO2含量が60.2重量%、CaO含量が22.0重量%、Al2O3含量 が13.2重量%、MgO含量が3.0重量%、Na2+K2Oの総含量が0.8 重量%であって、成形温度が2200°F(1204℃)〜2400°F(1316℃)であり 、成形温度と液相線温度との差が125°F(52℃)以上である、請求項1 記載の連続ガラス繊維。 15.SiO2含量が約60.1重量%、CaO含量が約22.1重量%、Al2O3 含量が約13.2重量%、MgO含量が約3.0重量%、K2O含量が約0.2重 量%、Na2O含量が0.6重量%、Fe2O3含量が約0.2重量%、SO3及び F2の総含量が0.1重量%、TiO2含量が約0.5重量%であって、成形温度 が約2300°F(1204℃)〜2400°F(1316℃)であり、成形温度と液相線温度 との差が約150°F(52℃)以上である、請求項1記載の連続ガラス繊維 。
