Claims (61)
- 放射線治療システムのコリメータ自動交換装置を備える装置において、
前記コリメータ自動交換装置は、前記放射線治療システムの一以上のコリメータを自動交換するように構成された装置。 - 装置は、さらに
ロボット・アーム、および、
前記コリメータ自動交換装置ならびに前記ロボット・アームに連結されたリニア・アクセラレータを備え、
前記コリメータ自動交換装置は、
前記リニア・アクセラレータに連結されたコリメータ・ハウジング、および
前記一以上のコリメータの一つのコリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジング中に固定するように構成される一次保持機構を備え、
前記コリメータ・ハウジング、前記一次保持機構、および、前記リニア・アクセラレータは、前記一以上のコリメータを自動的に交換するように構成される請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記一次保持機構は、ナットを備える請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記一次保持機構は、コリメータ・カラーを備える請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記一次保持機構は、前記コリメータ・ハウジングに取り外し自在に連結される請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記一次保持機構は、前記コリメータ・ハウジング上に能動的にロックされるように構成される請求項2記載の装置。
- 装置は、さらに、
前記コリメータ・カラーがコリメータ・ハウジング中に固定されたときに、それを示す前記コリメータ・ハウジングに連結された少なくとも一つの近接スイッチを備える請求項4記載の装置。 - 前記一次保持機構は、前記コリメータ・ハウジング上にネジ止めされるように構成される請求項2記載の装置。

- 前記一次保持機構は、前記コリメータ・ハウジングの後端に配置される請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記一次保持機構は、前記コリメータ・ハウジングの前端に配置される請求項2記載の装置。
- 前記コリメータ自動交換装置は、前記コリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジング中に固定するように構成された二次保持機構を備え、また、
前記二次保持機構は、前記コリメータ・ハウジングの後端に配置される請求項15記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに、
前記リニア・アクセラレータの届く範囲内に置かれた工具トレーを備え、また、
前記工具トレーは、前記一以上のコリメータを収容するように構成される請求項2記載の装置。 - 前記工具トレーは、少なくとも一つのコリメータ容器を備える請求項17記載の装置。
- 前記一以上のコリメータは、12の円形の寸法固定コリメータを備え、また、
前記工具トレーは、12のコリメータ容器を備える請求項17記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つのコリメータ容器は、前記コリメータ・ハウジングの一つのロック・ピンの係合を外すように構成され誘導機構に連結される請求項18記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つのコリメータ容器は、該少なくとも一つのコリメータ容器中のコリメータの存在または不在を示す近接スイッチに連結される請求項18記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つのコリメータ容器は、前記リニア・アクセラレータに対する前記コリメータ容器中のコリメータの位置を較正するための方向センサに連結される請求項18記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つのコリメータ容器は、前記コリメータを収容するように構成されたキー付き空洞に連結され、また、
前記コリメータは、前記キー付き空洞に取り外し自在に連結されるように構成される請求項18記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに、
前記リニア・アクセラレータのフレーム中の前記工具トレーの位置を較正するために該工具トレーに連結された少なくとも一つの感光センサを備える請求項18記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つの感光センサは取り外し自在の感光センサである請求項24記載の装置。
- 装置は、さらに、
前記工具トレーに連結された少なくとも一つの固定式クイックチェック・センサを備える請求項18記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに、
前記リニア・アクセラレータと前記工具トレーの間の接触を検出するために該工具トレーに連結された少なくとも一つの近接スイッチを備える請求項18記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つの近接スイッチは、前記工具トレーの下に配置される請求項27記載の装置。
- 装置は、さらに、
前記リニア・アクセラレータと前記工具トレーが接触した場合に、該リニア・アクセラレータが損傷する前に該工具トレーが壊れるように、該工具トレー中に複数の応力点を備える請求項18記載の装置。 - 前記工具トレーは、前記一次保持機構を前記コリメータ・ハウジングとの係合を外すための保持機構リムーバを備える請求項17記載の装置。
- 前記コリメータ自動交換装置は、二次保持機構を有し、また
前記二次保持機構は、前記工具トレーの一つのコリメータ容器の誘導機構によって係合を外される請求項17記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに、
ロボット・アーム、および
前記コリメータ自動交換装置および前記ロボット・アームに連結されたリニア・アクセラレータを有し、
前記コリメータ自動交換装置は、前記リニア・アクセラレータに取り外し自在に連結された工具交換装置であり、前記放射線治療システムの前記一以上のコリメータを交換するように構成される請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記工具交換装置は、空気圧式工具交換装置である請求項32記載の装置。
- 前記工具交換装置は、能動的要素を有し、また、
前記能動的要素は、前記リニア・アクセラレータ上に配置される請求項33記載の装置。 - 前記工具交換装置は、能動的要素を有し、また、
前記能動的要素は、前記ロボット・アーム上に配置される請求項33記載の装置。 - 前記工具交換装置は、能動的要素を有し、また、
前記能動的要素は、工具トレー上に配置される請求項33記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに、
ジンバル付き放射線源ヘッド・アセンブリを有する放射線治療送出装置、および
前記コリメータ自動交換装置および前記ジンバル付き放射線源ヘッド・アセンブリに連結されたリニア・アクセラレータを備え、
前記コリメータ自動交換装置は、
前記リニア・アクセラレータに連結されたコリメータ・ハウジング、および
前記一以上のコリメータの一つのコリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジング中に固定するように構成された一次保持機構を備え、
前記コリメータ・ハウジング、前記一次保持機構、および、前記リニア・アクセラレータは、前記一以上のコリメータを自動的に交換するように構成される請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記一次保持機構は、ロック・ピン、ナット、およびコリメータ・カラーの少なくとも一つを備える請求項35記載の装置。
- 放射線治療システム中に第一のコリメータを供給し、また
前記放射線治療システム中の前記第一のコリメータを自動的に交換する方法。 - 前記第一のコリメータを自動的に交換することは、
工具トレーの第一のキー付き空洞中で前記第一のコリメータの係合を外すことを含み、また、
前記第一のキー付き空洞は空であり、また、前記第一のコリメータを収容するように構成され、また、
前記第一のキー付き空洞は、前記放射線治療システムのリニア・アクセラレータの届く範囲内にある請求項39記載の方法。 - 方法は、さらに、
前記工具トレーの一以上の追加のキー付き空洞中に一以上の追加のコリメータを供給し、また、
前記一以上の追加のキー付き空洞は、前記一以上の追加のコリメータを収容するよう構成され、また、
前記工具トレーの前記一以上の追加のコリメータは、前記放射線治療システムのリニア・アクセラレータの届く範囲内にある請求項40記載の方法。 - 前記リニア・アクセラレータは、コリメータ・ハウジングに連結され、
前記第一のコリメータは、前記コリメータ・ハウジングに取り外し自在に連結された第一のコリメータ・カラーを有し、また
前記第一のコリメータの係合を外すことは、
前記第一のコリメータの前記第一のコリメータ・カラーを前記第一のキー付き空洞中に配置すること、および、
前記リニア・アクセラレータを回して前記コリメータ・ハウジングを前記第一のコリメータ・カラーとの係合から外し、前記第一のコリメータ・カラーを前記第一のキー付き空洞と係合させることからなる請求項40記載の方法。 - 前記第一のコリメータの係合を外すことは、さらに
前記リニア・アクセラレータを前記工具トレーの前記第一のキー付き空洞から回収すること、および
前記第一のコリメータ・カラーを前記工具トレーの前記第一のキー付き空洞に残すことからなる請求項42記載の方法。 - 前記第一のコリメータを自動的に交換することは、さらに
前記工具トレーの第二のキー付き空洞からの第二のコリメータを係合させることからなる請求項40記載の方法。 - 前記リニア・アクセラレータは、コリメータ・ハウジングに連結され、
前記第二のコリメータは、前記コリメータ・ハウジングに取り外し自在に連結されるようら構成された第二のコリメータ・カラーを有し、また
前記第二のコリメータを係合させることは、
前記リニア・アクセラレータを、前記第二のコリメータを収容した前記工具トレーの前記第二のキー付き空洞に向けて移動させること、および
前記第二のコリメータ・カラーを前記コリメータ・ハウジングと係合させることからなる請求項44記載の方法。 - 前記第二のコリメータ・カラーを係合させることは、前記リニア・アクセラレータを回して該第二のコリメータ・カラーを前記コリメータ・ハウジングに固定することからなる請求項45記載の方法。
- 前記第一のコリメータの係合を外すことは、さらに、
前記リニア・アクセラレータを前記工具トレーの前記第二のキー付き空洞から回収すること、および
前記工具トレーの該第二のキー付き空洞中の前記第二のコリメータ・カラーを取り除くことからなる請求項46記載の方法。 - 前記第二のコリメータ・カラーを係合させることは、
前記コリメータ・ハウジングのロック・ピンを前記第二のキー付き空洞の誘導機構と係合させることからなり、
前記誘導機構は、前記ロック・ピンを作動させて、前記第二のコリメータを前記工具トレーの前記第二のキー付き空洞から外すためのランプ(傾斜部)を備える請求項45記載の方法。 - 前記コリメータ・ハウジングに連結された前記ロック・ピンは、前記第二のコリメータ・カラーを係合させるときには前記誘導機構とは係合していない請求項48記載の方法。
- 前記第一のコリメータを自動的に交換することは、工具交換装置を用いて一つの工具トレーの一つの第一のキー付き空洞中の前記第一のコリメータの係合を外すことからなり、
前記第一のキー付き空洞は、空であり、
該第一のキー付き空洞は、前記第一のコリメータを収容するように構成され、また、
該第一のキー付き空洞は、前記放射線治療システムの一つのリニア・アクセラレータの届く範囲内にある請求項39記載の方法。 - 前記工具交換装置は、前記リニア・アクセラレータに取り外し自在に連結されており、また、
該工具交換装置を用いて前記第一のコリメータの係合を外すことは、
該工具交換装置を前記第一のキー付き空洞の上方に配置すること、および
該工具交換装置を作動させて、前記第一のコリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジングから外し、前記第一のキー付き空洞に入れることからなる請求項50記載の方法。 - 前記第一のコリメータを自動的に交換することは、さらに、前記工具交換装置を用いて、前記工具トレーの第二のキー付き空洞からの第二のコリメータを係合させることからなる請求項50記載の方法。
- 前記工具交換装置を用いて前記第二のコリメータを係合させることは、
該工具交換装置を、該第二のコリメータを収容した第二のキー付き空洞へ移動させること、および
該工具交換装置を作動させて、前記第二のキー付き空洞から該第二のコリメータを取り上げ、該第二のコリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジングに取り付けることからなる請求項52記載の方法。 - 前記工具交換装置は、空気圧式工具交換装置である請求項50記載の方法。
- 前記工具交換装置は、能動的要素を有し、また
前記能動的要素は、前記ロボット・アーム上に配置される請求項50記載の方法。 - 前記工具交換装置は、能動的要素を有し、また
前記能動的要素は、リニア・アクセラレータ上に配置される請求項50記載の方法。 - 前記工具交換装置は、能動的要素を有し、また
前記能動的要素は、前記工具トレー上に配置される請求項50記載の方法。 - 放射線治療システムのコリメータ、および
前記放射線治療システムの前記コリメータを自動的に交換するための手段を備える装置。 - 装置は、さらに
第一のコリメータの係合を外してコリメータ・ハウジングから第一のハウジングへ入れるための手段、および
第二のハウジングからの第二のコリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジングへ自動的に係合させるための手段を備える請求項58記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに
前記コリメータを前記コリメータ・ハウジング中に固定させるための手段を備える請求項59記載の装置。 - 装置は、さらに
前記放射線治療システムの放射線治療装置、および
前記コリメータを前記放射線治療装置へ連結するための手段を備える請求項58記載の装置。
