Abstract
【解決手段】排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置1は、複合金属酸化物を構成する複数の金属の化合物の水溶液を、スプレードライ法、噴霧熱分解法、凍結乾燥法のいずれか1種の方法により、多孔質フィルタ基材2の表面4cに塗布し、焼成することにより形成され、排ガス流入部4aから流入した排ガスが導入される該フィルタ基材2の表面4cを被覆するとともに、該フィルタ基材2の細孔よりも孔径が小さい細孔を有する多孔質体からなる酸化触媒3を備える。酸化触媒3は、化学式YMnO3、Y1−xAgxMnO3(0.01≦x≦0.30)、Y1−xAgxMn1−yAyO3(0.01≦x≦0.30かつ0.005≦y≦0.30、AはTi、Nb、Ta、Ru、Ce、Feのいずれか1種の金属)で表されるいずれか1種の複合金属酸化物からなる。

Description
本比較例では、本実施例1で用いた多孔質フィルタ基材(日本碍子株式会社製SiC多孔質体、商品名:MSC14)そのものを、排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置とした。本比較例の排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置には、酸化触媒が一切担持されていない。
本比較例では、まず、硝酸イットリウム5水和物と、硝酸銀と、硝酸マンガン6水和物と、硝酸ルテニウムとを、0.95:0.05:0.95:0.05のモル比で混合し、混合物を得た。次に、前記混合物を混合粉砕した後、800℃の温度に1時間保持して一次焼成を行った。次に、前記一次焼成で得られた結果物を、水と混合し粉砕した後、回転式ボールミルを用いて100回転/分で5時間混合粉砕し、スラリーを調製した。
Claims (4)
- 一方の端部を排ガス流入部とし、他方の端部を排ガス流出部とするウォールフロー構造を有する多孔質フィルタ基材と、該多孔質フィルタ基材に担持され複合金属酸化物からなる酸化触媒とを備える排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置において、
該複合金属酸化物を構成する複数の金属の化合物の水溶液を、スプレードライ法、噴霧熱分解法、凍結乾燥法のいずれか1種の方法により、該多孔質フィルタ基材の表面に塗布し、焼成することにより形成され、該排ガス流入部から流入した排ガスが導入される該多孔質フィルタ基材の表面を被覆するとともに、該多孔質フィルタ基材の細孔よりも孔径が小さい細孔を有する多孔質体からなる該酸化触媒を備え、
該酸化触媒は、化学式YMnO3、Y1−xAgxMnO3(0.01≦x≦0.30)、Y1−xAgxMn1−yAyO3(0.01≦x≦0.30かつ0.005≦y≦0.30、AはTi、Nb、Ta、Ru、Ce、Feからなる群から選択される1種の金属)で表されるいずれか1種の複合金属酸化物からなることを特徴とする排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置。 - 前記酸化触媒は、前記複合金属酸化物に対して5〜20質量%の範囲の酸化ジルコニウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置。
- 前記多孔質体は、前記細孔の全数の95%以上が10μm未満の孔径を備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置。
- 前記多孔質フィルタ基材及び前記多孔質体全体の気孔率が50〜80体積%の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化用酸化触媒装置。
