- 患者から採取した試料中の癌細胞におけるTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子のレベルまたは有無を決定する方法であって、該試料中の癌細胞におけるTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の発現を決定する段階を含み、該TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子が配列番号1に記載のアミノ酸配列からなるポリペプチドをコードする、方法。
- 該試料が、組織試料または液体試料である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 該決定が、該試料中のTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子核酸をアッセイすることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 該試料を、該TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子核酸を増幅するのに適した条件に供することをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 該決定が、シーケンシング、オリゴヌクレオチドハイブリダイゼーション、RNアーゼ保護または定量的PCRを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 該モノクローナル抗体が、検出可能な標識で標識されている、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 該検出可能な標識が、蛍光標識、化学発光標識、放射性標識または酵素標識から選ばれる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 患者から採取した試料中のTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の両方の対立遺伝子が変化しているか否かを決定する方法であって、
(a) 試料がTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の対立遺伝子の一方を失っているか否かの決定;および
(b) 試料がTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の他方の対立遺伝子に変化を有しているか否かの決定を含み、
試料が一方の対立遺伝子を失っており、かつ他方の対立遺伝子が変化している場合は、TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の両方の対立遺伝子が変化しており、
該TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子が、配列番号1に記載のアミノ酸配列をからなるタンパク質をコードする、方法。 - TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の変化を検出する方法であって、患者から採取した試料中においてTS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子が変化しているか否かを決定する段階を含み、
該TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子が配列番号1に記載のアミノ酸配列からなるポリペプチドをコードし、及び
該TS10q23.3腫瘍抑制因子遺伝子の変化が、欠失、挿入、フレームシフトおよび点変異からなる群から選ばれる、方法。 - 該決定が、シーケンシング、突然変異オリゴヌクレオチドハイブリダイゼーション、SSCP(商標)またはRNアーゼ保護を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
