Abstract
【解決手段】下記構造式(1)乃至(3)で示すオキサジアゾール誘導体を提供する。また、それらのいずれかを用いて形成された発光素子、発光装置及び電子機器を提供する。下記構造式(1)乃至(3)で示すオキサジアゾール誘導体は、電子輸送性に優れているため、発光素子に好適に用いることができる。

Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様であるオキサジアゾール誘導体について説明する。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態1で示したオキサジアゾール誘導体を用いた発光素子の一態様について、図1および図2を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、発光素子の一態様として、実施の形態1で示したオキサジアゾール誘導体を電子注入層に用いた構成について説明する。
本実施の形態は、複数の発光ユニットを積層した構成の発光素子(以下、積層型素子という)の態様について、図3を参照して説明する。この発光素子は、第1の電極と第2の電極との間に、複数の発光ユニットを有する積層型発光素子である。各発光ユニットの構成としては、実施の形態2又は3で示した構成と同様な構成を用いることができる。つまり、実施の形態2又は3で示した発光素子は、1つの発光ユニットを有する発光素子である。本実施の形態では、複数の発光ユニットを有する発光素子について説明する。
本実施の形態では、画素部に実施の形態2乃至4の発光素子を有する発光装置について図4を用いて説明する。なお、図4(A)は、発光装置を示す上面図、図4(B)は図4(A)をA−A’およびB−B’で切断した断面図である。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態4に示す発光装置をその一部に含む電子機器について説明する。実施の形態4の発光装置は、良好な電気特性を有する発光素子を用いているため、その発光装置を適用することで高性能な電子機器を得ることができる。電子機器としては、ビデオカメラ、デジタルカメラ、ゴーグル型ディスプレイ、ナビゲーションシステム、音響再生装置(カーオーディオ、オーディオコンポ等)、コンピュータ、ゲーム機器、携帯情報端末(モバイルコンピュータ、携帯電話、携帯型ゲーム機または電子書籍等)、記録媒体を備えた画像再生装置(具体的には、Digital Versatile Disc(DVD)等の記録媒体を再生し、その画像を表示しうる表示装置を備えた装置)などが挙げられる。これらの電子機器の具体例を図6に示す。

- 構造式(2)で表されるオキサジアゾール誘導体。
- 構造式(3)で表されるオキサジアゾール誘導体。
- 陽極と陰極の間に、発光層と、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一に示すオキサジアゾール誘導体を含む層を有し、
前記オキサジアゾール誘導体を含む層は、前記発光層と前記陰極との間に設けられている発光素子。 - 請求項4に記載の発光素子を有する発光装置。
- 請求項5に記載の発光装置を用いた照明装置。
- 請求項5に記載の発光装置を表示部に用いた電子機器。
