Abstract
【解決手段】基材1の摺動受け面7上に被着層である被着層22を被着した摺動部材3において、被着層22を、水素を多く含有する多水素含有固体潤滑剤2Aとこの多水素含有固体潤滑剤2Aよりも水素の含有量が少ない少水素含有固体潤滑剤2Bとを混合した混合固体潤滑剤2Cを基材1の摺動受け面7上に付着させて、形成する。これにより、摺動後の基材1の摺動受け面7に、固体潤滑剤2が基材1の厚さ方向に存在しない潤滑剤無存在領域4が形成され、潤滑剤無存在領域4に、基材1が酸化された酸化部5が形成される。

Description
本発明者は、このような事情を基にして、低フリクション性及び耐摩耗性に優れる摺動部材の本発明をなすに至った。
本発明の被着層22は、水素を多く含有する多水素含有固体潤滑剤(粒子)2Aとこの多水素含有固体潤滑剤2Aよりも水素の含有量が少ない少水素含有固体潤滑剤(粒子)2Bとから形成されている。水素の含有量の調整は、例えば固体潤滑剤2に水を所望量加えて調整される。所望の水素量を含有した固体潤滑剤2(多水素含有固体潤滑剤2A,少水素含有固体潤滑剤2B)を得る手段は、例えば、固体潤滑剤2を乾燥させて、含有する水分、即ち水素量を、0%とした後に、蒸気を所定時間だけ固体潤滑剤2に噴きつけて、水分を含有させる手法がある。他にも、所定の湿度及び温度に保たれた空間に所定時間、固体潤滑剤2を保持させたりする手法もある。又、水素量の調整を水の含有量で調整せずに、水素ガスを固体潤滑剤2に噴きつけて、所望の水素量を含有させたりする手法等もある。尚、本発明では、被着層22を、水素量が異なる2種類の固体潤滑剤2(多水素含有固体潤滑剤2A,少水素含有固体潤滑剤2B)で形成したが、水素量が異なる3種類以上の固体潤滑剤2から形成しても良い。
ここで、摺動後とは、例えばエンジンの耐久テスト全負荷運転で200〜300時間行った後であり、これは、例えば自動車用のエンジンの主軸受として用いた場合の走行距離で3万km〜30万kmに相当する。
酸化部5の深さ寸法は、上述したEDX(エネルギー分散型X線分析)或いはWDX(波長分散型X線分析)で確認される。酸化部5の深さ寸法が基材1の摺動受け面7から0.01μm以上あると、酸化部5の存在による効果が顕著に現れ、摺動部材3の耐摩耗性を向上させ易い。酸化部5の深さ寸法が基材1の摺動受け面7から0.7μm以下であると、基材1中に酸化部5よりも軟らかい非酸化部6が比較的多く存在する。これにより、摺動部材3の低フリクション性及び耐摩耗性を良好にすると共に、なじみ性も良好にすることができる。
被着層の膜厚が2μm以下であると、被着層が剥離し難い。被着層の膜厚は0.05μm以上が好ましく、0.1μm以上であると、被着層が固体潤滑剤の効果を特に顕著に奏する。
本発明の実施形態の摺動部材3は、図1に示すように、鋼から成る裏金層(図示せず)上にアルミニウム合金層(以下、基材1と称する)が設けられ、この基材1上にMoS2からなる被着層22が設けられた構造である。そして、本発明の効果を確認するために、表1に示す試料(実施例1〜5及び比較例1〜7)を製作し、摩耗を確認する試験を行った。
実施例1〜5及び比較例1〜4,6,7と、比較例5との比較から、被着層22が設けられる試料は、摩擦係数が低減されることが理解される。そして、実施例1〜5と、比較例6,7との比較から、実施例1〜5のようにH1/H2が5以下である場合に、より低い摩擦係数が得られることが理解される。これは、基材1の摺動受け面7上に残留する被着層22の低フリクション性の効果であると考えられる。
Claims (6)
- 基材の摺動受け面上に被着層を被着した摺動部材において、
前記被着層は、水素を多く含有する多水素含有固体潤滑剤とこの多水素含有固体潤滑剤よりも水素の含有量が少ない少水素含有固体潤滑剤の少なくとも2種類の固体潤滑剤を混合した混合固体潤滑剤が前記基材の前記摺動受け面上に付着されて、形成されていることを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 基材の摺動受け面上に被着層を被着した摺動部材において、
前記被着層中の単位量当たりの平均水素量をH1とし、前記基材中の単位量当たりの平均水素量をH2とした場合、
1<H1/H2≦5の関係を満たすことを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 基材の摺動受け面上に被着層を被着した摺動部材において、
前記被着層は、水素を多く含有する多水素含有固体潤滑剤とこの多水素含有固体潤滑剤よりも水素の含有量が少ない少水素含有固体潤滑剤の少なくとも2種類の固体潤滑剤を混合した混合固体潤滑剤が前記基材の前記摺動受け面上に付着されて、形成されており、
前記被着層中の単位量当たりの平均水素量をH1とし、前記基材中の単位量当たりの平均水素量をH2とした場合、
1<H1/H2≦5の関係を満たす摺動部材。 - 摺動後の前記基材の前記摺動受け面には、前記被着層が存在しない潤滑剤無存在領域があり、
前記潤滑剤無存在領域から前記基材内部方向に、前記基材が酸化された酸化部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。 - 前記酸化部の深さ寸法は、前記基材の表面から0.01〜0.7μmであることを特徴とする請求項4記載の摺動部材。
- 前記被着層の膜厚は、2μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の摺動部材。
