Abstract
【解決手段】車両インナー側の車両固定部材21に固定される外輪2と、車両アウター側のブレーキデイスク7及び車輪に接続され、外輪2と相対回転する内輪3と、車両アウター側の外輪2と内輪3との間に設けられ、内外輪間を密封するシール装置31と、を備える転がり軸受装置であって、外輪2が車両固定部材21に固定された態様で、外輪2の外周面には、該外周面に付着する水を外輪2のラジアル方向下方へ誘導するための環状となした複数の誘導排水溝が外輪2のアキシャル方向Zに並列形成されたことを特徴とする。

Description
そして、近年では、ブレーキデイスクの冷却のために、外気を導入する通気孔が設けられるようになってきている。この結果、ラビリンス隙間に到達する異物としての水の浸入量も、かかる通気孔を通って必然的に増加する傾向にあり、この増加した浸入量に対しては十分なシール機能を発揮できなくなるおそれがある。

Claims (5)
- 車両インナー側の車両固定部材に固定される外輪と、車両アウター側のブレーキデイスク及び車輪に接続され、前記外輪と相対回転する内輪と、車両アウター側の前記外輪と前記内輪との間に設けられ、前記内外輪間を密封するシール装置と、を備える転がり軸受装置であって、
前記外輪が前記車両固定部材に固定された態様で、前記外輪の外周面には、該外周面に付着する水を前記外輪のラジアル方向下方へ誘導するための環状となした複数の誘導排水溝が前記外輪のアキシャル方向に並列形成されたことを特徴とする転がり軸受装置。 - 前記誘導排水溝は前記シール装置から遠ざかるように、前記アキシャル方向に傾斜させて並列形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の転がり軸受装置。
- 前記誘導排水溝を、連続した螺旋溝状となしたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の転がり軸受装置。
- 前記誘導排水溝の底面を、湾曲面状に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の転がり軸受装置。
- 前記誘導排水溝は、その一部としての凸状の突堤を有し、該突堤の外周面を帯状形態の平坦面となしたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の転がり軸受装置。
