Abstract
【解決手段】スーパーキャパシタ用電極は、集電体と、前記集電体の少なくとも一面上に形成された多孔性複合金属酸化物層とを備えている。前記多孔性複合金属酸化物層は、電界が印加された状態における紡糸及びその後の熱処理によって形成された超極細繊維がもつれ合ったウェブ状態であり、マンガン酸化物及びマンガン酸化物よりも高い電気伝導性を有する導電性金属酸化物のナノ粒子を含む。

Description
(1)紡糸溶液の調製
(2)紡糸による超極細繊維ウェブの形成
(3)超極細繊維ウェブに対する第1の熱処理
(4)第2の熱処理による多孔性複合金属酸化物層の形成
からなる。
ステップ1は、マンガン酸化物の前駆体、マンガン酸化物よりも高い電気伝導度を持つ導電性金属酸化物の前駆体、及びポリマーを溶媒と一緒に混合して紡糸溶液を調製するステップである。
ステップ2では、集電体の少なくとも一面上に、ステップ1で調製された紡糸溶液を用いて電界下で紡糸を行うことによって、前記マンガン酸化物の前駆体、前記導電性金属酸化物の前駆体及びポリマーを含む超極細繊維がもつれ合ったウェブを形成する。
ステップ3では、ステップ2で得た超極細繊維に対して、熱圧着、熱加圧及びアニールの中から選ばれた第1の熱処理を行うことにより、前記超極細繊維のウェブ内のポリマーを部分的又は全体的に溶融させる。
ステップ4では、ステップ3を経た超極細繊維のウェブに対して第2の熱処理を行うことにより、前記超極細繊維のウェブから、溶融した前記ポリマーを除去することによって、多孔性複合金属酸化物層を形成する。
100mLの底丸型フラスコに、0.84gのマンガン(III)アセチルアセトネート(分子量:352.27、アルドリッチ社製)と0.49gのルテニウムクロライド(分子量:207.43)とを加えた。次に、10gのジメチルホルムアミド(demethylformamide:DMF、J.T.Baker)を加えて完全に溶かした。この時、円滑な電界紡糸のために、0.67mlの酢酸を加えた。これらの混合物を1分程度攪拌した後、1.6gのポリビニルアセテート(polyvinylacetate:PVAc)(分子量:500,000)を加えて溶かし、さらに、2時間攪拌することによって、マンガン酸化物の前駆体とルテニウム酸化物の前駆体とPVAcとを含む紡糸溶液を調製した。この時、後の電界紡糸を円滑に行うために、臭化セチルトリメチルアンモニウムを少量加えた。
実施例1で製造された超極細繊維ウェブに対して、ラミネーターを用いて圧着(温度:60℃、押圧力:0.1MPa、押圧時間:60秒)を行った後、300℃で1時間の熱処理を行うことにより、マンガン酸化物−ルテニウム酸化物のナノ粒子からで構成されたネットワークを含む電極を製造した。
実施例1で製造された電極をスーパーキャパシタ用電極として用い、電気化学特性の評価を行った。
実施例2で製造された電極をスーパーキャパシタ用電極として用い、実験例1と同様に、電気化学特性の評価を行った。
Claims (17)
- 集電体と、
前記集電体の少なくとも一面上に形成された多孔性複合金属酸化物層とを備え、
前記多孔性複合金属酸化物層は、電界が印加された状態における紡糸及びその後の熱処理によって形成された超極細繊維がもつれ合ったウェブ状態であり、マンガン酸化物及びマンガン酸化物よりも高い電気伝導性を有する導電性金属酸化物のナノ粒子を含むことを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項1のスーパーキャパシタ用電極において、
前記ナノ粒子は、ナノ繊維がもつれ合ったウェブ構造を持つ前記多孔性複合金属酸化物層内に均一に分布されているか、又はネットワーク構造を構成していることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項2に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極において、
前記ナノ繊維は、熱圧着又は熱加圧によって生じた平坦なベルトを構成していることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項1に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極において、
前記マンガン酸化物リッチな前記ナノ粒子は、非晶質構造、又は非晶質構造内にナノ結晶領域が部分的に形成された構造を有し、
前記導電性金属酸化物リッチな前記ナノ粒子は、結晶構造を有することを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項1に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極において、
前記ナノ粒子は、2nm以上で且つ30nm以下の平均粒子径を有することを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項1に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極において、
前記導電性金属酸化物は、ルテニウム酸化物、イリジウム酸化物、ニッケル酸化物、錫酸化物、インジウム酸化物、バナジウム酸化物、タングステン酸化物、コバルト酸化物、及びモリブデン酸化物から構成される群の中から選ばれた少なくとも1つの酸化物であることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項1に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極において、
前記多孔性複合金属酸化物層における前記マンガン酸化物と前記導電性金属酸化物との組成比は、(マンガン酸化物)1-x (導電性金属酸化物)x (0.1≦x≦0.5)と表されることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極を備えていることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ。
- 請求項1に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法であって、
マンガン酸化物の前駆体、マンガン酸化物よりも高い電気伝導度を有する導電性金属酸化物の前駆体、ポリマー、及び溶媒を混合して紡糸溶液を調製する工程と、
集電体上に、前記紡糸溶液を用いて電界下で紡糸を行うことにより、前記マンガン酸化物の前駆体、前記導電性金属酸化物の前駆体及びポリマーを含む超極細繊維がもつれ合ったウェブを形成する工程と、
前記超極細繊維のウェブに対して、熱圧着、熱加圧及びアニールの中から選ばれた第1の熱処理を行うことにより、前記超極細繊維のウェブ内のポリマーを部分的又は全体的に溶融させる工程と、
前記超極細繊維のウェブに対して第2の熱処理を行うことにより、前記超極細繊維のウェブから前記ポリマーを除去し、それによって、多孔性複合金属酸化物層を形成する工程とを備えていることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記マンガン酸化物の前駆体は、マンガン(III)アセチルアセトネート、マンガン(II)アセチルアセトネート、マンガン(III)アセテートハイドレート、マンガン(III)アセテートジハイドレート、マンガン(III)アセテートテトラハイドレート、マンガン(II)ナイトレートハイドレート、マンガン(II)クロライド、マンガン(II)クロライドハイドレート、マンガン(III)クロライドテトラハイドレート、マンガン(II)硫酸ハイドレート及びマンガン(II)硫酸モノハイドレートから構成される群の中から少なくとも1つ選ばれた物質であることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記導電性金属酸化物の前駆体は、Ru, Ir, Sn, In, Ni, Co, W, V及びMoから構成される群の中から選ばれた金属を含み、
前記導電性金属酸化物の前駆体を前記ポリマーと混合して紡糸を行った後に熱処理を行うことによって、前記導電性金属酸化物の前駆体を、ルテニウム酸化物、イリジウム酸化物、ニッケル酸化物、錫酸化物、インジウム酸化物、バナジウム酸化物、タングステン酸化物、コバルト酸化物又はモリブデン酸化物に変えることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記ポリマーは、ポリビニルアセテート又はその共重合体、ポリウレタン又はその共重合体、セルロース誘導体、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリメチルアクリレート(PMA)、ポリアクリル共重合体、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)、ポリフルフリルアルコール(PFFA)、ポリスチレン(PS)又はその共重合体、ポリアルキレンオキシド又はその共重合体、ポリカーボネート(PC)、ポリビニルクロライド(PVC)、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリビニルピロリドン(PVP)、ポリビニルフルオライド、ポリビニルフルオライドの共重合体、及びポリアミドから構成された群の中から少なくとも1つ選ばれた物質であることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記溶媒は、ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)、アセトン、テトラヒドロフラン、トルエン及び水から構成された群の中から少なくとも1つ選ばれた物質であることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記熱圧着又は前記熱加圧は、前記超極細繊維のウェブに対して、前記ポリマーのガラス転移温度以上の温度で圧力を加えることによって行われることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記アニールは、前記ポリマーのガラス転移温度以上で且つ200℃以下の温度で行われることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記第2の熱処理は、300℃以上で且つ600℃以下の温度で行われることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法において、
前記紡糸は、電界紡糸法、溶融ブロー法、フラッシュ紡糸法又は溶融静電ブロー法によって行われることを特徴とするスーパーキャパシタ用電極の製造方法。
