Claims (14)
- 分岐ヒアルロン酸であって、その直鎖骨格が、1又は2以上のN−アセチル−グルコサミンがグルコサミンに脱アセチル化されたヒアルロン酸を含んでなり、前記脱アセチル化グルコサミンの第1級アミンに分岐側鎖が共有結合して第2級アミンを形成する、分岐ヒアルロン酸。
- 分岐側鎖が生物適合性ポリマーを含んでなる、請求項1記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸。
- 生物適合性ポリマーがヒアルロン酸を含んでなる、請求項2記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸。
- 直鎖ヒアルロン酸骨格中のN−アセチル−グルコサミンの50%以下がグルコサミンに脱アセチル化され、好ましくは、直鎖ヒアルロン酸骨格中のN−アセチル−グルコサミンの40%以下、より好ましくは30%以下、さらに好ましくは20%以下、10%以下、最も好ましくは5%以下がグルコサミンに脱アセチル化された、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸。
- 分岐ヒアルロン酸を製造する方法であって、
(a)1又は2以上のN−アセチル−グルコサミンがグルコサミンに脱アセチル化された直鎖ヒアルロン酸骨格を供給する工程;及び
(b)少なくとも1の遊離還元性アルデヒド基を含んでなる生物適合性ポリマーを、(a)の1又は2以上のグルコサミンの第1級アミンと、還元的N−アルキル化により反応させ、分岐ヒアルロン酸を形成する工程を含んでなる方法。 - 直鎖ヒアルロン酸骨格中のN−アセチル−グルコサミンの50%以下がグルコサミンに脱アセチル化され、好ましくは、直鎖ヒアルロン酸骨格中のN−アセチル−グルコサミンの40%以下、より好ましくは30%以下、さらに好ましくは20%以下、10%以下、最も好ましくは5%以下がグルコサミンに脱アセチル化された、請求項5記載の方法。
- 直鎖ヒアルロン酸骨格の平均分子量が10〜3,000キロダルトン(kDa)、好ましくは20〜2,000kDa、最も好ましくは20〜1,000kDaである、請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- 生物適合性ポリマーがヒアルロン酸を含んでなる、請求項5〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸と、活性物質、好ましくは薬理学的活性物質とを含んでなる組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸の有効量と、医薬的に許容し得る担体、賦形剤又は希釈剤とを含んでなる医薬組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸の有効量をビヒクルとして含んでなるとともに、薬理学的活性物質を含んでなる医薬組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸、又は請求項9〜11のいずれかに記載の組成物を含んでなる衛生製品、医療又は手術製品であって、好ましくは、おむつ、生理用ナプキン、手術用スポンジ、創傷治癒スポンジ、又は、絆創膏若しくは他の創傷被覆材の部材である前記製品。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸、又は請求項9〜11のいずれかに記載の組成物を含んでなる医薬カプセル又はマイクロカプセル。
- 変形性関節炎治療、眼科的治療、癌治療、創傷治療又は血管形成に用いられる薬剤の製造のための、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の分岐ヒアルロン酸、又は請求項9〜11のいずれかに記載の組成物の使用。
