Abstract
Description
次の一般的な方法によって導電性物品を製造する。この実施例の目的のために、導電性粒子状材料としてステンレススチール繊維を使用し、炭素系材料として炭素繊維を使用する。両方の繊維を別々に射出成形可能ポリマー中に混合してペレットを形成し、これらのペレットを射出成形機中で機械的に混合し、この中に両方の繊維が分散した成形物品を製造する。次のデータは、これらの物品のEMI遮蔽に関して予想外の相乗効果を示す。使用したステンレススチール繊維は、長さ5mm及び直径8ミクロンであった。使用した炭素繊維は、長さ6mm及び直径7ミクロンであった。
Claims (14)
- 射出成形可能ポリマー;
前記射出成形可能ポリマー中に埋め込まれている導電性粒子状材料;及び
前記射出成形可能ポリマー中に埋め込まれている炭素系粒子状材料
を含む導電性物品。 - 導電性物品がEMI遮蔽物である、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 導電性物品がペレットの形状である、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 導電性物品がプレートの形状である、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 導電性粒子状材料がステンレススチールである、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 炭素系粒子状材料がカーボン繊維である、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 導電性粒子状材料が、粉末、フレーク、連続繊維、切断繊維及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される形状である、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 炭素系材料が、粉末、フレーク、連続繊維、切断繊維及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される形状である、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 導電性粒子状材料の重量%が、導電性物品の0%から50%の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 炭素系材料の重量%が、導電性物品の0%から30%の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 導電性粒子状材料が、金属繊維、金属メッキ繊維、金属粉末及び金属メッキ粉末からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の導電性物品。
- 射出成形可能ポリマーから導電性物品を製造する方法であって、
射出成形可能ポリマー中に導電性粒子状材料を埋め込むことによってペレットの第一集合体を得る工程;
射出成形可能ポリマー中に炭素系粒子状材料を埋め込むことによってペレットの第二集合体を得る工程;及び
射出成形機中でペレットの第一集合体とペレットの第二集合体とを混合する工程
を含む、前記方法。 - ペレットの第一集合体を得る工程が、クロスヘッド押出し、一段スクリュー式混合及び二段スクリュー式混合からなる群から選択される処理によって遂行される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- ペレットの第二集合体を得る工程が、クロスヘッド押出し、一段スクリュー式混合及び二段スクリュー式混合からなる群から選択される処理によって遂行される、請求項12に記載の方法。
