Claims (20)
- 光を発散する光源部とディスプレイパネルの間に設けられ、前記光源部から入射した光を前記ディスプレイパネルに向かって出射させる異方性拡散シートであって、
前記光源部から入射した光を内部光散乱を介して等方性で拡散させる等方性拡散層と、
前記等方性拡散層の上部面と境界を成す境界面、および前記等方性拡散層の上部面に対して傾斜するように配置される少なくとも一対の傾斜面を有して前記等方性拡散層の上部面に対して突出するように形成されており、前記等方性拡散層の上部面上で相互離隔間隔をおいて配置され、前記等方性拡散層から等方性で出射した光を前記ディスプレイパネルに向かって反射させる複数の反射体を含み、
前記光源部から発散して前記等方性拡散層に入射した光が前記等方性拡散層を通過しながら等方性で拡散し、前記等方性拡散層から等方性で出射した光が前記複数の反射体によって反射しながら異方性で拡散することによって、前記光源部から発散した光を異方性で拡散させて前記液晶ディスプレイパネルに入射させることを特徴とする異方性拡散シート。 - 前記等方性拡散層は、透明な材質の樹脂と、前記樹脂との屈折率差が0.02〜0.1以下である光散乱性粒子とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記樹脂は、ポリエステル、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリカーボネート、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン、ポルリエステルスルフォン、ポリブタジエン、ポリエーテルケトン、およびポリウレタンのうちから1種以上が選択され、
前記光散乱性粒子は、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン、ポリブタジエン、これらの共重合体、およびシリカのうちから選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の異方性拡散シート。 - 前記反射体は、屈折率が1.6以上である無機物粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記反射体は、樹脂および前記樹脂に混合する前記無機物粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記樹脂は、ウレタンアクリレート、エポキシアクリレート、エステルアクリレート、エーテルアクリレート、およびラジカル発生型モノマのうちから1種以上が選択され、
前記無機物粒子は、TiO2、BaSO4、Al(OH)3、Al2O3、CaCO3、ZnO、およびZnSのうちから選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の異方性拡散シート。 - 前記複数の反射体は、それぞれ二等辺三角形の断面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記複数の反射体は、ぞれぞれ不等辺三角形の断面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 請求項1に係る異方性拡散シートを含むバックライトユニット。
- 請求項9に係るバックライトユニットを含む液晶表示装置。
- 光を発散する光源部とディスプレイパネルの間に設けられ、前記光源部から入射した光を前記ディスプレイパネルに向かって出射させる異方性拡散シートであって、
前記光源部から入射した光を内部光散乱を介して等方性で拡散させる等方性拡散層と、
前記光源部と対向するように配置される境界面、および前記境界面に対して傾斜するように配置される少なくとも一対の傾斜面を有して前記等方性拡散層の内部に形成されており、前記等方性拡散層の内部で相互離隔間隔をおいて配置され、前記等方性拡散層によって等方性で拡散する光を前記ディスプレイパネルに向かって反射させる複数の反射体を含み、
前記光源部から発散して前記等方性拡散層に入射した光が等方性で拡散し、前記等方性拡散層によって等方性で拡散した光が前記複数の反射体によって反射しながら異方性で拡散することによって、前記光源部から発散した光を異方性で拡散させて前記液晶ディスプレイパネルに入射させることを特徴とする異方性拡散シート。 - 前記等方性拡散層は、透明な材質の樹脂と、前記樹脂との屈折率差が0.02〜0.1以下である光散乱性粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記樹脂は、ポリエステル、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリカーボネート、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン、ポルリエステルスルフォン、ポリブタジエン、ポリエーテルケトン、およびポリウレタンのうちから1種以上が選択され、
前記光散乱性粒子は、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン、ポリブタジエン、これらの共重合体、およびシリカのうちから選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の異方性拡散シート。 - 前記反射体は、屈折率が1.6以上である無機物粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記反射体は、樹脂および前記樹脂に混合する前記無機物粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記樹脂は、ウレタンアクリレート、エポキシアクリレート、エステルアクリレート、エーテルアクリレート、およびラジカル発生型モノマのうちから1種以上が選択され、
前記無機物粒子は、TiO2、BaSO4、Al(OH)3、Al2O3、CaCO3、ZnO、およびZnSのうちから選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の異方性拡散シート。 - 前記複数の反射体は、それぞれ二等辺三角形の断面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の異方性拡散シート。
- 前記複数の反射体は、それぞれ不等辺三角形の断面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の異方性拡散シート。
