Claims (5)
- モジュールハウジング(402)と、
エアバッグ(401)と、
前記モジュールハウジング(402)内に配置されているエアバッグインフレータ(200、300)であって、第1の端部(A)と第2の端部(B)とを有する管状インフレータハウジング(11)を有し、一次気体通気ポート(74)が、前記管状インフレータハウジングから前記エアバッグ(401)に気体を通気させるように前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記両端部(A、B)から離れている、エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)と、
前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記第1の端部(A)の位置に排出ポート(86)を有し、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)から大気中に気体を直接解放し、それによって前記エアバッグ(401)を迂回させるために、前記排出ポート(86)が前記モジュールハウジング(402)の外側になるように、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記第1の端部(A)は前記モジュールハウジング(402)の外側に延びている、気体解放機構(80)と、
を有する、エアバッグモジュール組み立て品(400)。 - 前記エアバッグ(401)と前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)とを囲むように前記モジュールハウジング(402)に接続されているモジュールカバー(403)をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のエアバッグモジュール組み立て品(400)。
- 前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)内から前記排出ポート(86)を通過する気体の流れを防止する裂断可能な部材(82、83)と、膨張気体を、前記モジュールハウジング(402)の外側にある前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)の前記排出ポート(86)から排出するように前記裂断可能部材(82、83)を開く手段と、をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のエアバッグモジュール組み立て品(400)。
- 前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)の前記一次気体通気ポート(74)は、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の内側の気体によってもたらされる所定の圧力が加えられたときに裂断または破裂することになる裂断可能部材(16、22)によって密封されており、前記気体解放機構(80)は、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記第1の端部(A)の位置に通路または開口を有しており、前記通路または開口(84)は、前記一次気体通気ポート(74)を密封している前記裂断可能部材(16、22)が裂断することになる所定の圧力よりも高い所定の圧力が加えられたときに裂断または破裂することになる裂断可能な部材(82、83)によって密封されており、前記気体解放機構(80)の前記通路または開口(84)を密封している前記裂断可能部材(82、83)は、前記排出ポート(86)を通過して前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)を出るように、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)から気体を直接解放するようにイグナイタ(3)によって裂断可能である、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のエアバッグモジュール組み立て品(400)。
- 前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)は、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記第2の端部(B)の位置に配置され取り付けられているガスジェネラント(27)を収容しているヒータ組み立て品(2、2A)を有するハイブリッドインフレータであって、
不活性気体(6)が前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)内に収容されており、
前記一次気体通気ポート(74)は、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の内側の気体によってもたらされる所定の圧力が加えられたときに裂断または破裂する破裂可能部材(16、22)によって密封されており、
前記気体解放機構(80)は、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記第1の端部(A)の位置に通路または開口(84)を有しており、
前記通路または開口(84)は、前記一次気体通気ポート(74)を密封している前記裂断可能部材(16、22)が裂断する所定の圧力よりも高い所定の圧力が加えられたときに裂断または破裂することになる裂断可能な部材(82、83)によって密封されており、
前記気体解放機構(80)の前記通路または開口(84)を密封している前記列断可能部材(82、83)は、気体が前記排出ポート(86)を通過して前記エアバッグインフレータ(200、300)を出るように、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)から気体を解放するようにイグナイタ(3)によって裂断可能であり、
前記ヒータ組み立て品(2、2A)は、貫通している複数の穴(24、60)を有するジェネラント管(1A、1B、1C)によって構成されている外側シェルと、
前記ガスジェネラント(27)が収容されているガスジェネラント燃焼室(5)であって、該ガスジェネラント燃焼室(5)と前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)とは、前記ジェネラント管(1A、1B、1C)の前記複数の穴(24、60)を通して互いに通じている、ガスジェネラント燃焼室(5)と、
前記ヒータ組み立て品(2、2A)に接続されており、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)の前記第1の端部(A)に位置しているイグナイタ(3)と、
点火エンハンサ合成物(25)が収容されているエンハンサエンハンサ燃焼室(4)であって、該点火エンハンサ燃焼室(4)は前記ガスジェネラント燃焼室(5)と前記イグナイタ(3)との間に位置しており、前記ガスジェネラント燃焼室(5)から隔壁によって分離されており、前記隔壁(40)は1つまたは2つ以上の第1の開口(42)を有している、点火エンハンサエンハンサ燃焼室(4)とを有し、
前記点火エンハンサ合成物(25)は、前記イグナイタによって点火されたときに、前記一次気体通気ポート(74)を密封している前記裂断可能部材(16、22)を裂断するのに必要な前記所定の圧力をもたらすように、前記ガスジェネラント燃焼室(5)内の前記ガスジェネラント(27)に点火すると共に、前記管状インフレータハウジング(11)内に収容されている前記不活性気体(6)を加熱することになる燃焼生成物を生成する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のエアバッグモジュール組み立て品(400)。
