Description
南京虫が監視装置に出会う可能性が増大するので誘引メカニズムを南京虫監視装置に使用することが望ましい。このことは、また、南京虫蔓延の早期発見の確率を増す。
誘引物質の一例は集合フェロモンまたは移動阻止フェロモンである。フェロモンは、ジェル状、固体状であるかまたは別の物質に含浸される。フェロモンを含浸させることができる物質の例は厚紙、プラスティックまたは接着ボードを含むことができる。フェロモンは吸収パッドに組み込むこともできる。
餌タイプの誘引物質を用いることができ、これを液体ジェルまたは固体状とすることができる。南京虫の場合、餌タイプの誘引物質は人間の匂いを模倣したものである。
南京虫は、粗い肌理(きめ)の表面及び多孔性の表面の材料に誘引される。例えば、南京虫は滑らかなプラスティック材より木材または厚紙に集り易い。南京虫を誘引するために南京虫監視装置に組み込むことができる材料の例には、木材、厚紙(ボール紙)、波形紙、コットンまたは壁紙が含まれる。

南京虫が南京虫監視装置に出会ったら、できる限り速やかにその場所の管理者または所有者がこの出会いを知ることが重要である。その南京虫監視装置のデザインにより南京虫の存在の簡単で早期の検出が容易になる。
室内の目立たない場所に南京虫監視装置を配置することができる。例えば、施設の客が見ることのないような頭板の後に南京虫監視装置を配置することができる。室内の隠された表面に南京虫監視装置を固定するために粘着剤を使用することができる。また、南京虫監視装置を表面に貼り付けるためにネジ、ネイルまたは鋲を使用することができる。

- 交互に頂部と溝部を形成する波形層と、
