Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の放電回路は、負電圧を受けて動作する駆動回路が備えられた装置の放電回路であって、前記負電圧が入力される第1入力端と、接地電圧が入力される第2入力端との間に接続され、かつ、制御信号に応答して、前記負電圧を前記第2入力端の接地電圧に放電させる放電手段と、前記駆動回路の正常動作モード及び異常動作モードにそれぞれ対応する動作電圧が入力される第3入力端と、前記第1入力端との間に接続され、かつ、前記駆動回路の正常動作モードにおいて、動作状態及び非動作状態を決定する動作信号に応答して、前記制御信号を出力する制御手段と、を備える。

Description
正常動作モードは、駆動回路、例えば、ゲートドライブ回路102によって制御される液晶パネル105の状態により、動作状態と非動作状態(待機モードを含む)とに分けられる。動作状態は、電源電圧の円滑な供給により駆動回路が正常に動作し、液晶パネル105が動作する状態を意味する。非動作状態は、ユーザが電源スイッチなどを操作して駆動回路を正常に停止させることにより、液晶パネル105が動作しなくなった状態を意味する。
異常動作モードは、駆動回路210または駆動回路であるゲートドライブ回路102によって制御される液晶パネル105が、正常動作モードにおいて、外部衝撃や停電などの理由のように、異常な形で外部電源電圧が遮断され、駆動回路が停止した場合を意味する。

Claims (18)
- 負電圧を受けて動作する駆動回路が備えられた装置の放電回路であって、
前記負電圧が入力される第1入力端と、接地電圧が入力される第2入力端との間に接続され、かつ、制御信号に応答して、前記負電圧を前記第2入力端の接地電圧に放電させる放電手段と、
前記駆動回路の正常動作モード及び異常動作モードにそれぞれ対応する動作電圧が入力される第3入力端と、前記第1入力端との間に接続され、かつ、前記駆動回路の正常動作モードにおいて、動作状態及び非動作状態を決定する動作信号に応答して、前記制御信号を出力する制御手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする放電回路。 - 前記制御手段は、
ノードと前記第3入力端との間に接続され、かつ、前記動作信号に応答して、前記動作電圧を前記ノードに伝達するプルアップ駆動部と、
前記ノードと前記第1入力端との間に接続されたプルダウン駆動部と、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電回路。 - 前記プルアップ駆動部は、p−チャネルを有するトランジスタで構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の放電回路。
- 前記プルダウン駆動部は、抵抗素子で構成されることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の放電回路。
- 前記プルダウン駆動部は、ダイオード接続されたp−チャネルを有するトランジスタで構成されることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の放電回路。
- 前記放電手段は、p−チャネルを有するトランジスタで構成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の放電回路。
- 前記動作電圧は、前記駆動回路の正常動作モード時に電源電圧レベルを有し、前記駆動回路の異常動作モード時に接地電圧レベルを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の放電回路。
- 前記動作信号は、前記駆動回路が動作状態のときに接地電圧レベルを有し、非動作状態のときに電源電圧レベルを有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の放電回路。
- 表示パネルと、
該表示パネルにゲートオン/オフ電圧を発生するゲートオン/オフ電圧発生回路と、
前記表示パネルの動作モードに応じて前記ゲートオフ電圧を放電させる放電回路と、
を備え、
前記放電回路は、
前記ゲートオフ電圧が入力される第1入力端と、接地電圧が入力される第2入力端との間に接続され、かつ、制御信号に応答して、前記ゲートオフ電圧を前記第2入力端の接地電圧に放電させる放電手段と、
前記表示パネルの正常動作モード及び異常動作モードにそれぞれ対応する動作電圧が入力される第3入力端と、前記第1入力端との間に接続され、かつ、前記表示パネルの正常動作モードにおいて、動作状態及び非動作状態を決定する動作信号に応答して、前記制御信号を出力する制御手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記制御手段は、
ノードと前記第3入力端との間に接続され、かつ、前記動作信号に応答して、前記動作電圧を前記ノードに伝達するプルアップ駆動部と、
前記ノードと前記第1入力端との間に接続されたプルダウン駆動部と、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の表示装置。 - 前記プルアップ駆動部は、p−チャネルを有するトランジスタで構成されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の表示装置。
- 前記プルダウン駆動部は、抵抗素子で構成されることを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載の表示装置。
- 前記プルダウン駆動部は、ダイオード接続されたp−チャネルを有するトランジスタで構成されることを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載の表示装置。
- 前記放電手段は、p−チャネルを有するトランジスタで構成されることを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記動作電圧は、前記表示パネルの正常動作モード時に電源電圧レベルを有し、前記表示パネルの異常動作モード時に接地電圧レベルを有することを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記動作信号は、前記駆動回路が動作状態のときに接地電圧レベルを有し、非動作状態のときに電源電圧レベルを有することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の表示装置。
- 前記ゲートオフ電圧は、負電圧であることを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルは、液晶パネルであることを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
