Abstract
【解決手段】ハロゲン系難燃剤を含む難燃性熱可塑性樹脂(A成分)に、B成分としての無機系抗菌粉体と、C成分としての珪酸亜鉛の微粉体、又は非晶質酸化珪素と酸化亜鉛との混合微粉体とを配合する。B成分と併用されるC成分の働きによって、A成分内でのB成分の分散性及び表面露出性が良好になり、少量の無機系抗菌粉体によって実用上十分な抗菌性が発現され、耐変色性が良好となものとなる。

Description
難燃性熱可塑性樹脂(A成分)として、臭素系難燃剤及び難燃助剤を含有するアクリロニトリル−ブタジエン−スチレン共重合樹脂(ABS)を用い、無機系抗菌粉体(B成分)として、銀・亜鉛系ゼオライト抗菌粉体と銀系リン酸ガラス粉体とを1:1重量部比で混合した混合物を用い、C成分として珪酸亜鉛微粉体を用いて、これらA成分、B成分及びC成分を下表表1〜表3に示した割合で混合した後、射出成型機を用いて厚さ約5mmの樹脂板を作成し(実施例1〜13、比較例1〜5)、その抗菌性を評価した。その結果を同表1〜表3に示す。尚、黄色ブドウ球菌については、実施例12及び14についてのみ、その抗菌性を評価した。
JIS Z 2801の評価方法に準じて、大腸菌及び黄色ブドウ球菌による抗菌試験を行った。抗菌性はJIS Z 2801に定める抗菌活性値にて判定した。抗菌活性値が2以上の場合に抗菌効果ありと判定される。
各試料をキセノンウエザーメーターで50時間処理した。処理前後の試料をカラーメーターで測色測定を行い、ΔEを指標として評価した。即ち、ΔE<1であれば○(良好)、1≦ΔE≦5であれば△(やや良)、5<ΔEであれば×(不良)とした。
それぞれ臭素系難燃剤と三酸化アンチモン難燃助剤とが配合された、a)ポリプロピレン樹脂(PP)(実施例14及び比較例6)、b)ポリスチレン樹脂(PS)(実施例15及び比較例7)、c)アクリロニトリル−スチレン共重合樹脂(AS)(実施例16及び比較例8)を前記A成分として用い、B成分の無機系抗菌粉体として、銀系ゼオライト抗菌粉体と銀系硼酸ガラス粉体とを2:1重量部比で混合した混合物を用い、C成分として珪酸亜鉛微粉体を用いて、これらA成分、B成分及びC成分を下表表4に示した割合で混合した後、射出成型機を用いて厚さ約5mmの樹脂板を作成し(実施例14〜16、比較例6〜8)、その抗菌性を評価した。その結果を同表4に示す。尚、黄色ブドウ球菌については、実施例14〜16についてのみ、その抗菌性を評価した。
Claims (11)
- ハロゲン系難燃剤を含む難燃性熱可塑性樹脂(A成分)に、無機系抗菌粉体(B成分)及び珪酸亜鉛の微粉体(C成分)を配合したことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- ハロゲン系難燃剤を含む難燃性熱可塑性樹脂(A成分)に、無機系抗菌粉体(B成分)及び非晶質酸化珪素と酸化亜鉛との混合微粉体(C成分)を配合したことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記A成分の100重量部に対して、前記B成分を0.02〜3重量部、前記C成分を0.1〜3重量部配合したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記A成分の100重量部に対して、前記B成分を0.05〜0.5重量部、前記C成分を0.2〜3重量部配合したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記C成分は、その一次粒子径が1μm以下であり、且つ二次粒子径が1.5〜4.5μmである請求項1乃至4記載のいずれかの熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記C成分は、その比表面積が60〜110m2/gである請求項1乃至5記載のいずれかの熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記C成分は、その表面がジメチルシロキサンによって表面処理されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6記載のいずれかの熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記A成分に含有されるハロゲン系難燃剤が臭素系難燃剤である請求項1乃至7記載のいずれかの熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 前記B成分に含有される抗菌性金属が少なくとも銀又は亜鉛である請求項1乃至8記載のいずれかの熱可塑性樹脂組成物。
- 無機系抗菌粉体(B成分)と珪酸亜鉛の微粉体(C成分)とを混合した後、混合した前記B成分及びC成分を、ハロゲン系難燃剤を含む難燃性熱可塑性樹脂(A成分)と混合させるようにしたことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 無機系抗菌粉体(B成分)と、非晶質酸化珪素及び酸化亜鉛の混合微粉体(C成分)とを混合した後、混合した前記B成分及びC成分を、ハロゲン系難燃剤を含む難燃性熱可塑性樹脂(A成分)と混合させるようにしたことを特徴とする熱可塑性樹脂組成物の製造方法。
