Abstract
【解決手段】電源装置は、DC電源部に並列的に接続される、第1のスイッチング素子と第2のスイッチング素子の直列回路と、前記第2のスイッチング素子に並列的に接続され、インダクタと平滑コンデンサとの直列回路から構成される平滑フィルタ回路と、を備えている。電源装置は、また、前記第1、第2のスイッチング素子をオンオフ駆動する第1、第2のPWMパルスをそれぞれ形成し、それらのスイッチングパルス間にデッドタイムを形成するための制御部及びドライブ回路を備えている。前記制御部は、第1、第2のPWMパルスのいずれかのパルス幅に応じて前記スイッチングパルスの周波数を変える。

Description
グパルスを鈍らせて第2のPWMパルスを形成するCR時定数回路を用いている場合は、第2のPWMパルスのOFF幅が一定の幅以下になると、同パルスの形成が不確実となり第2のスイッチング素子の制御が不安定となるが、この発明では、このような状態のときにスイッチングパルスの周波数が低くなるために、第2のPWMパルスの形成が確実となる。

で表される。

Claims (8)
- DC電源部に並列的に接続される、第1のスイッチング素子と第2のスイッチング素子の直列回路と、
前記第2のスイッチング素子に並列的に接続され、インダクタと平滑コンデンサとの直列回路から構成される平滑フィルタ回路と、
前記平滑コンデンサの両端に接続される出力端子と、
スイッチングパルスを出力し、そのパルスのデューテイ比を制御する制御部と、
前記スイッチングパルスに基づいて、前記第1のスイッチング素子と前記第2のスイッチング素子を交互にオンオフするための第1のPWMパルスと第2のPWMパルスをそれぞれ形成し、さらに、それらのPWMパルス間にデッドタイムを形成するドライブ回路と、を備え、
前記制御部は、前記第1のPWMパルスと前記第2のPWMパルスのいずれかのパルス幅に応じて前記スイッチングパルスの周波数を変える電源装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1のPWMパルスと前記第2のPWMパルスのいずれかのパルス幅が短くなるに応じて前記スイッチングパルスの周波数を低くする請求項1記載の電源装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記第1のPWMパルスと前記第2のPWMパルスのいずれかのパルス幅が一定のパルス幅以下になると前記スイッチングパルスの周波数を低くする請求項1記載の電源装置。
- 前記ドライブ回路は、前記スイッチングパルスを鈍らすCR時定数回路を備え、このCR時定数回路の出力を整形することにより前記デッドタイムを形成する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の電源装置。
- 前記ドライブ回路は、前記第1のPWMパルスを形成する第1のドライブ回路と、前記第2のPWMパルスを形成する第2のドライブ回路とで構成し、
前記第1のドライブ回路は、前記スイッチングパルスを鈍らす第1のCR時定数回路を含み、
前記第2のドライブ回路は、前記スイッチングパルスを鈍らす第2のCR時定数回路を含み、
前記第1のCR時定数回路と前記第2のCR時定数回路のそれぞれの時定数が異なっている請求項4記載の電源装置。 - 出力電流を検出する出力電流検出部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記出力電流検出部で検出された出力電流が一定となるように前記スイッチングパルスのデューティ比を制御する、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の電源装置。 - 前記出力端子に二次電池が接続され、
前記制御部は、前記二次電池に対して充電電流を流す充電モードと、前記二次電池から放電電流を流す放電モードとを設定することが出来、
前記充電モードのときは、前記第1のPWMパルスのパルス幅が前記第2のPWMパルスのパルス幅よりも大きくなるように前記スイッチングパルスのデューティ比を制御し、前記放電モードのときは、前記第2のPWMパルスのパルス幅が前記第1のPWMパルスのパルス幅よりも大きくなるように前記スイッチングパルスのデューティ比を制御する、請求項6記載の電源装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記二次電池の電池電圧に応じて前記スイッチングパルスのデューティ比を制御する請求項7記載の電源装置。
