【解決手段】本発明は、有機発光ダイオードと、第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードに供給される電流量を制御するための第2トランジスタと、データ線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続され、走査線に走査信号が供給される時にターンオンされる第1トランジスタと、前記走査信号と重畳し、前記走査信号より広い幅を有する電源信号の供給を受ける電源線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続されるフィードバックキャパシタとを備える。

式1において、Voled1は第1電流に対応して有機発光ダイオードOLEDに印加される電圧、Voled2は第2電流に対応して有機発光ダイオードOLEDに印加される電圧、Vdataはデータ信号に対応する電圧を意味する。

Claims (13)
- 有機発光ダイオードと、
第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードに供給される電流量を制御するための第2トランジスタと、
データ線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続され、走査線に走査信号が供給される時にターンオンされる第1トランジスタと、
前記走査信号と重畳し、前記走査信号より広い幅を有する電源信号の供給を受ける電源線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続されるフィードバックキャパシタと
を備えることを特徴とする画素回路。 - 前記第1電源と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画素回路。
- 有機発光ダイオードと、
第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードに供給される電流量を制御するための第2トランジスタと、
データ線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続され、走査線に走査信号が供給される時にターンオンされる第1トランジスタと、
前記走査線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
前記第1電源と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタと、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続されるフィードバックキャパシタと
を備えることを特徴とする画素回路。 - 走査線に走査信号を順次供給するための走査駆動部と、
電源線に電源信号を順次供給するための電源信号供給部と、
前記走査信号と同期されるようにデータ線にデータ信号を供給するためのデータ駆動部と、
前記走査線、データ線及び電源線の交差部に位置する画素回路とを備え、
i(iは自然数)番目の水平ラインに位置する前記画素回路のそれぞれは、
有機発光ダイオードと、
第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードに供給される電流量を制御するための第2トランジスタと、
前記データ線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続され、i番目の走査線に前記走査信号が供給される時にターンオンされる第1トランジスタと、
i番目の電源線と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第1キャパシタと、
前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極と前記有機発光ダイオードのアノード電極との間に接続されるフィードバックキャパシタと
を備えることを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記電源信号が供給される時に前記電源線には第3電源の電圧が供給され、前記電源信号が供給されない時に前記電源線には前記第3電源より高い第4電源の電圧が供給されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第3電源及び第4電源の電圧は、前記第2トランジスタで前記データ信号に対応して流れ得る電流より高い電流が流れることができるように設定されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記電源信号供給部は、前記i番目の走査線に供給される走査信号と重畳し、前記走査信号より広い幅を有する前記電源信号を前記i番目の電源線に供給することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記データ信号は実際に表現しようとする階調よりも高い階調に対応する電圧に設定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第1電源と前記第2トランジスタのゲート電極との間に接続される第2キャパシタを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 走査線に走査信号を順次供給するための走査駆動部と、
前記走査信号と同期されるようにデータ線にデータ信号を供給するためのデータ駆動部と、
前記走査線及びデータ線の交差部に位置する画素回路とを備え、
i(iは自然数)番目の水平ラインに位置する前記画素回路のそれぞれは、
有機発光ダイオードと、
第1電源から前記有機発光ダイオードに供給される電流量を制御するための第2トランジスタと、

を備えることを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記走査信号が供給される時に前記走査線には第3電源の電圧が供給され、前記走査信号が供給されない時に前記走査線には前記第3電源より高い第4電源の電圧が供給されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記第3電源及び第4電源の電圧は、前記第2トランジスタで前記データ信号に対応して流れ得る電流より高い電流が流れることができるように設定されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
- 前記データ信号は実際に表現しようとする階調よりも高い階調に対応する電圧に設定されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
