Abstract
【解決手段】表面にアルキル基を持ち且つ金属表面との反応性を持つ官能基を有する有機化合物によって被覆された金属超微粒子(有機複合金属ナノ粒子)を有機溶媒に分散・可溶化し、炭素素材を前記有機溶媒に攪拌混合する。その後、加熱処理により前記溶媒を乾燥させ、前記複合金属ナノ粒子金属超微粒子を取り囲む有機被膜を分解させることにより、前記炭素素材に、前記金属超微粒子を反応・侵食した形で一体化することにより、強固に付着させる。

Claims (10)
- 表面にアルキル基を持ち且つ金属表面との反応性を持つ官能基を有する有機化合物によって、金属超微粒子が被覆されて構成される有機複合金属ナノ粒子を有機溶媒に分散・可溶化し、該有機複合金属ナノ粒子を含んだ前記有機溶媒に炭素素材を攪拌混合した後、加熱処理により前記有機溶媒を乾燥させ、前記有機複合金属ナノ粒子における前記金属超微粒子を取り囲む有機被膜を分解させることにより、前記炭素素材に対して前記金属超微粒子を反応又は侵食した形で一体化させることを特徴とする炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記炭素素材は、カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンファイバー、黒鉛、活性炭、コークス、カーボンブラック、カーボングラファイト、及びダイヤモンドのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記金属超微粒子は、白金、金、銀、ニッケル、鉄、及び銅のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記金属超微粒子を被覆する前記有機化合物が、炭素数5から22の直鎖脂肪酸又は炭素数5から22の直鎖高級アルコールであり、前記有機溶媒として、トルエン、ヘキサン、又はシクロヘキサン等の鎖状、環状、芳香族を含む炭化水素を用いることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3記載の炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記有機溶媒と前記炭素素材を攪拌混合する攪拌混合手段として、超音波を用いることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか記載の炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記有機溶媒と前記炭素素材を攪拌混合する攪拌混合手段として、前記有機溶媒に対して圧力を付与する圧力付与装置と、前記力付与装置によって加圧された前記有機溶媒を導入する複数の導入流路と、前記導入流路を介して流れ込んだ前記有機溶媒を相互に衝突させる衝突部とを備える装置を用い、前記有機溶媒を衝突させて流れ方向を変えることにより、乱流、高速流、超音波、衝撃波、キャビテーション等を発生させ、これにより攪拌混合することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか記載の炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記有機溶媒を乾燥させる前記加熱処理が、大気下又は大気圧よりも低圧環境下で行うようにし、前記加熱処理の温度は、前記有機化合物の分解する温度以上且つ前記炭素材料が分解する温度以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の炭素素材への金属超微粒子付着方法。
- 前記炭素素材を予め他の溶媒に一旦分散させてから、該炭素素材を、前記有機複合金属ナノ粒子を含んだ前記有機溶媒に混入させるようにし、且つ、
前記炭素素材を前記溶媒に予め分散させる分散手段として、前記溶媒に対して圧力を付与する圧力付与装置と、前記圧力付与装置によって加圧された前記溶媒を導入する複数の導入流路と、前記導入流路を介して流れ込んだ前記溶媒を相互に衝突させる衝突部とを備える装置を用い、前記炭素素材を含んだ前記溶媒を衝突させて流れ方向を変えることにより、乱流、高速流、超音波、衝撃波、キャビテーション等を発生させ、前記炭素素材を分散させることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか記載の金属超微粒子の付着方法。 - 前記炭素素材または前記カーボンナノチューブ表面に付着する前記金属超微粒子を、加熱や外力によって除去することにより、前記炭素素材または前記カーボンナノチューブを侵食して表面に凹凸が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の金属超微粒子の付着方法。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれか記載の方法によって製造されることを特徴とする金属超微粒子付着済みの炭素複合素材。
