Abstract
【解決手段】 水素タンク31と、水素タンク31内の水素ガスを外部に送り出すための開閉バルブ31aと、水素タンク31から送り出された水素ガスを減圧する減圧弁33と、減圧弁33によって減圧された水素ガスの圧力を測定する圧力センサ52と、圧力センサ52が測定する水素ガスの圧力に基づいて水素タンク31内のガスの圧力を算出することにより水素タンク31内のガス残量を求める電源システム制御装置50とでガス残量算出装置Aを構成した。そして、減圧弁33における一次室33aの圧力と、二次室33bの圧力との関係が、一次室33aの圧力が増加すると二次室33bの圧力も増加し、一次室33aの圧力が減少すると二次室33bの圧力も減少する単調な関係になるようにした。

(式3)の関係によると、P1が大きくなるとP2も大きくなり、P1が小さくなるとP2も小さくなる。このように、減圧装置を前述したように構成することにより、ガスが送り込まれる入口側部分の圧力が増加すると減圧されたガスが送り出される出口側部分の圧力も増加し、入口側部分の圧力が減少すると出口側部分の圧力も減少する単調な関係が成立する。

また、この状態では、一次室33aと二次室33bとは連通しているため、一次室33aに送られた水素ガスは二次室33bにも入る。これによって、ピストン35には、二次室33b側から下記の(式2)で示される力F2が入口34a側に向って働く(図6参照)。なお、(式2)におけるS2は、ピストン本体35aの端面の面積である。

Claims (4)
- 所定のガスが収容されるガス容器と、前記ガス容器内のガスを外部に送り出すための開閉部と、前記ガス容器から送り出されたガスを減圧する減圧装置と、前記減圧装置によって減圧されたガスの圧力を測定するガス圧測定装置と、前記ガス圧測定装置が測定するガスの圧力に基づいて前記ガス容器内のガスの圧力を算出することにより前記ガス容器内のガス残量を求めるガス残量算出手段とを備えたガス残量算出装置であって、
前記減圧装置の本体における前記ガスが送り込まれる入口側部分の圧力と、前記減圧装置における減圧されたガスが送り出される出口側部分の圧力との関係が、前記入口側部分の圧力が増加すると前記出口側部分の圧力も増加し、前記入口側部分の圧力が減少すると前記出口側部分の圧力も減少する単調な関係になるように、前記減圧装置を構成したことを特徴とするガス残量算出装置。 - 前記減圧装置の本体の内面における前記入口側部分と前記出口側部分との境界部に、前記入口側部分から前記出口側部分に向って大径になった絞り面を形成するとともに、前記入口側部分から前記出口側部分に向って大径になり前記絞り面に接触することにより前記入口側部分と前記出口側部分との間を閉塞し、前記絞り面から後退することにより前記絞り面との間に前記入口側部分と前記出口側部分とを連通させるガス流路を形成するピストンを設け、前記ピストンを前記絞り面から後退させるように付勢するばねを前記入口側部分に設けた請求項1に記載のガス残量算出装置。
- 前記ガスが水素ガスで、前記ガス容器が水素タンクであり、前記水素タンクから送り出された水素ガスは、水素ガスと酸素ガスとを反応させて電力を発生する燃料電池に送られる請求項1または2に記載のガス残量算出装置。
- 前記燃料電池の発電電流を検出する発電電流検出装置を設けて、前記発電電流検出装置が検出する発電電流に基づいて前記水素タンクから前記燃料電池に供給される水素ガスの流量を算出し、前記水素ガスの流量を加味して、前記ガス残量算出手段が、前記水素タンク内のガス残量を求めるようにした請求項3に記載のガス残量算出装置。
