Claims (12)
- 外部空気供給源からの第1吸気口(24)と、エンジンのクランクケースブローバイ換気装置からの第2吸気口(21)とを具備し、該第2吸気口(21)の開口部(22)が、該開口部(22)から生じる可能性のある水滴が室(23)内の主要気流とともにターボチャージャ(6)に向かって導出される位置で該室(23)に配置されることを特徴とする車両エンジンのターボチャージャ(6)のための吸気室。
- 前記吸気開口部(22)から前記ターボチャージャ(6)の空気取入ポートへのほぼ自由な気流通路を設けるように、該吸気開口部(22)が前記室(23)内での主要気流の方向において該ターボチャージャ(6)の下流に配置される、請求項1に記載の室(23)。
- 該吸気開口部(22)が、該室(23)内での主要気流の方向とほぼ同様の方向を持つ該開口部(22)からの気流を該ターボチャージャ(6)に向かって発生させるように、該ターボチャージャ(6)にほぼ面した状態で該開口部(22)が配置される、請求項1または2に記載の室(23)。
- 前記室(23)が密閉式クランクケース換気装置(CCV)ホース(20)を具備する、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の室(23)。
- 前記ホース(20)がゴム、プラスチック、金属、複合物のうち少なくとも一つで製作される、請求項4に記載の室(23)。
- 前記室(23)が前記ターボチャージャ(6)を具備する、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の室(23)。
- 前記第2吸気開口部(22)が前記ターボチャージャ(6)に組み込まれる、請求項6に記載の室(23)。
- 前記室(23)が前記ターボチャージャ(6)に隣接する空気導管である、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の室(23)。
- 前記室(23)内の前記主要気流速度と同程度の空気速度を持つ前記第2吸気開口部(22)からの気流を発生させるような寸法を該開口部(22)が持つ、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の室(23)。
- 前記開口部(22)が前記室(23)の上半分に配置される、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の室(23)。
- 前記開口部(22)が前記室(23)の四分割上方位置に配置される、請求項10に記載の室(23)。
- 前記開口部(22)が前記室(23)の排気口(25)に隣接して配置される、請求項2に記載の室(23)。
