Abstract
【解決手段】鉱物誘導ナフテン系基油、鉱物誘導パラフィン系基油及び/又はフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン系基油を含む基油組成物と、銅不動態化剤と、有機硫黄系又は有機燐系耐摩耗添加剤0.1重量%以下とを含有する酸化安定性油配合物。

Description
本発明は、基油と添加剤とを含有する酸化安定性油配合物に関する。
US−A−6790386にはイソパラフィン基油及び添加剤を含有する絶縁液が記載されている。イソパラフィン基油は、パラフィン系真空供給原料の水素化処理、水素化異性化及び水素化により製造される。
US−A−5773391にはポリオールエステル基油と、脂肪族モノカルボン酸混合物と、酸化防止剤及び金属失活剤を含む添加剤包装とを含有する組成物が記載されている。この文献は更に耐摩耗添加剤としてホスホロジチオネートを開示している。
この目的は、以下の油配合物で達成される。鉱物誘導ナフテン系基油、鉱物誘導パラフィン系基油及び/又はフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン系基油を含む基油組成物と、銅不動態化剤と、有機硫黄又は有機燐をベースとする化合物0.001重量%以上0.1重量%未満とを含有する酸化安定性油配合物。
出願人は、いわゆるパラフィン型又はナフテン型の鉱物誘導基油、及び/又はフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導基油を、少なくとも1種の銅不動態化剤及び少量の耐摩耗添加剤と組合わせると、絶縁油として使用するのに極めて好適な特性を有する油製品が得られることを見出した。銅不動態化剤と少量の耐摩耗添加剤とを組合わせると、酸化安定性がこのように向上するとは予測されるものではなかった。本明細書において、鉱物誘導基油とは、鉱油供給源から基油が得られたことを意味し、一方、フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導基油とはフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物から誘導されたことを意味する。

で表される基であってよく、cは0、1、2又は3であり、R3は直鎖又は分岐鎖のC1〜4アルキル基である。R3はメチル又はエチルであり、cは1又は2であることが好ましい。R5はメチレン又はエチレン基であり、更に好ましくはR6及びR7は水素、或いは同じか又は異なる、直鎖又は分岐鎖の炭素原子数1〜18のアルキル基、好ましくは炭素原子数1〜12の分岐鎖アルキル基であり、R8及びR9は同じか又は異なる炭素原子数3〜15、好ましくは4〜9のアルキル基である。
N,N’−ジ(ナフチル−2−)−p−フェニレンジアミン、N−イソプロピル−N’−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミン、N−(1,3−ジメチルブチル)−N’−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミン、N−(1−メチルヘプチル)−N’−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミン、N’−シクロヘキシル−N’−フェニル−p−フェニレンジアミン、4−(p−トルエン−スルホアミド)ジフェニルアミン、N,N’−ジメチル−N,N’−ジ−sec−ブチル−p−フェニレンジアミン、ジフェニルアミン、N−アリルジフェニルアミン、4−イソプロポキシ−ジフェニルアミン、N−フェニル−1−ナフチルアミン、N−フェニル−2−ナフチルアミン、オクチル化ジフェニルアミン、例えばp,p’−ジ−tert−オクチルジフェニルアミン、4−n−ブチルアミノフェノール、4−ブチリルアミノフェノール、4−ノナノイルアミノフェノール、4−ドデカノイルアミノフェノール、4−オクタデカノイルアミノフェノール、ジ(4−メトキシフェニル)アミン、2,6−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ジメチルアミノメチルフェノール、2,4’−ジアミノジフェニルメタン、4,4’−ジアミノジフェニルメタン、N,N,N’,N’−テトラメチル−4,4’−ジアミノジフェニルメタン、1,2−ジ(フェニルアミノ)エタン、1,2−ジ〔(2−メチルフェニル)アミノ〕エタン、1,3−ジ(フェニルアミノ)プロパン、(o−トリル)ビグアニド、ジ〔4−(1’,3’−ジメチルブチル)フェニル〕アミン、tert−オクチル化N−フェニル−1−ナフチルアミン、モノ−及びジ−アルキル化tert−ブチル−/tert−オクチル−ジフェニルアミンの混合物、2,3−ジヒドロ−3,3−ジメチル−4H−1,4−ベンゾチアジン、フェノチアジン、N−アリルフェノチアジン、tert−オクチル化フェノチアジン、3,7−ジ−tert−オクチルフェノチアジンである。可能なアミン系酸化防止剤は、EP−A−1054052の式VIII及びIXによる化合物も挙げられる。これらの化合物はUS−A−4,824,601にも記載されている。これらの文献はここに援用する。
油配合物の硫黄含有量は、好ましくは0.5重量%未満、なお更に好ましくは0.15重量%未満である。油配合物中の大部分の硫黄の供給源は、本発明油配合物の基油成分に含まれる硫黄である。
基油組成物は、鉱物誘導ナフテン系基油、鉱物誘導パラフィン系基油、又はフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導基油から選ばれた1種以上の基油を含有してよい。
基油組成物は、炭素原子数がn、n+1、n+2、n+3及びn+4(但し、nは20〜35の数である)の一連のイソパラフィンを含有することが好ましい。
基油組成物中のパラフィン含有量は、好ましくは80重量%を超え、更に好ましくは90重量%を超え、なお更に好ましくは95重量%を超え、またなお更に好ましくは98%を超える。
このようなフィッシャー・トロプシュ蝋から誘導した基油は、本明細書ではフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導基油と言う。
(a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物を水素化分解/水素化異性化する工程、

実施例1では、基油成分がナフテン系2−基油95重量%とパラフィン系1−基油5重量%とからなる2種の配合物A、Bを製造した。これらの混合物に1−〔ビス(2−エチルヘキシル)アミノメチル〕ベンゾトリアゾール(Reomet 38S)を10mg/kg加えた。混合物Aにはジベンジルジスルフィドを200mg/kg加え、混合物Bにはジ−n−ドデシルジスルフィドを200mg/kg加えた。油混合物A及びBをIEC 61125 Cによる164時間/120℃酸化試験に従って試験し、油相の酸価を測定した。混合物Aの油相の酸価は0.26mgKOH/gであり、混合物Bの油相の酸価は0.94mgKOH/gであった。両値とも非常に低く、優れた酸化安定性を示す。混合物Aの値は、有機ポリスルフィド耐摩耗添加剤として、好ましいジベンジルジスルフィドを用いた場合は、なお一層優れた結果が得られることを示す。ここで説明した方法に従って、特定の耐摩耗剤を選択することにより、酸化安定性が向上できることは意外である。
第1表の鉱物誘導ナフテン系1−基油、鉱物誘導パラフィン基油及びGTLベース基油1から出発して第2表の添加剤添加計画1〜5に従って、5種の異なる油混合物を作った。これら全ての油混合物について、IEC 61125 Cによる164時間/120℃での酸化試験に従ってスラッジの形成量を測定した。この値が低いほど、スラッジは少ない。その結果も第2表に示す。
第4表に示す計画に従って4種の油混合物を製造した。このうち2種の油混合物に対しTonsil 411粘土(Sued Chemie,Munchen (D)から得られる)を用いて粘土処理を行なった。粘土処理後、酸化防止剤及び銅不動態化添加剤を加えた。これら油混合物の特性を測定し、更に油混合物に対し、500時間/120℃でのIEC酸化試験を行なった。
第1表のGTL基油1、2、3を用い、第6表に示す配合に従って、3種の油配合物A〜Cを作った。これらの油配合物A〜Cに対しTonsil 411粘土(Sued Chemie,Munchen (D)から得られる)を用いて粘土処理を行なった。粘土処理後、酸化防止剤及び銅不動態化添加剤を加えた。これら油混合物の特性を測定し、更に油混合物に対し、500時間/120℃でのIEC酸化試験を行なった。
これらの油を第6表に示す試験法で試験した。その結果から、絶縁油用として優れた油であることが判る。
Claims (21)
- 鉱物誘導ナフテン系基油、鉱物誘導パラフィン系基油及び/又はフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導パラフィン系基油を含む基油組成物と、銅不動態化剤と、有機硫黄系又は有機燐系耐摩耗添加剤0.1重量%以下とを含有する酸化安定性油配合物。
- 耐摩耗添加剤が、式:
R1−(S)a−R2 (I)
(但し、aは2、3、4又は5であり、R1及びR2は独立に、直鎖又は分岐鎖で飽和又は不飽和の任意に置換されたC1〜C25炭化水素基よりなる群から選ばれる)で表される有機ポリスルフィドを含む請求項1に記載の配合物。 - R1及びR2が独立に、直鎖又は分岐鎖の任意に置換された芳香族又は脂肪族のC4〜C20、好ましくはC6〜C14の炭化水素基よりなる群から選ばれる請求項2に記載の配合物。
- R1及びR2が独立に、直鎖又は分岐鎖のドデシル及びベンジルから選ばれる請求項2に記載の配合物。
- 配合物中の有機硫黄系又は有機燐系耐摩耗添加剤の含有量が、800mg/kg未満、好ましくは400mg/kg未満である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 銅不動態化剤が、式(II)の化合物又は式(III)で表される任意に置換されたベンゾトリアゾール化合物
(但し、R4は水素、或いは式(IV)
又は式(V)
で表される基であってよく、cは0、1、2又は3であり、R3は直鎖又は分岐鎖のC1〜4アルキル基、R5はメチレン又はエチレン基であり、R6及びR7は水素、或いは同じか又は異なる、直鎖又は分岐鎖の炭素原子数1〜18のアルキル基、好ましくは炭素原子数1〜12の分岐鎖アルキル基であり、R8及びR9は同じか又は異なる炭素原子数3〜15のアルキル基である)である請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。 - R3がメチル又はエチルであり、cが1又は2である請求項6に記載の配合物。
- 銅不動態化添加剤の含有量が5〜1000mg/kgである請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 配合物の硫黄含有量が0.5重量%未満である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 酸化防止添加剤も含有する請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 酸化防止添加剤がフェノール系又はアミン系酸化防止剤である請求項10に記載の配合物。
- 酸化防止添加剤がジ−t−ブチル化ヒドロキソトルエンである請求項11に記載の配合物。
- 基油組成物が、鉱物誘導ナフテン系基油を80重量%以上含有する請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 基油組成物が、鉱物誘導パラフィン系基油を80重量%以上含有する請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 基油組成物が、フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導基油を80重量%以上含有する請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 基油組成物の40℃での動粘度が1〜4mm2/secである請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 基油組成物の40℃での動粘度が5〜15mm2/secである請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の配合物。
- 基油組成物と有機硫黄系又は燐系耐摩耗添加剤との混合物を粘土処理し、次いで粘土処理後、銅不動態化剤を添加することを特徴とする請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の配合物の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜18のいずれか1項以上に記載の配合物を絶縁油として使用する方法。
- 請求項19に記載の配合物を低温スイッチギア用として使用する方法。
- 請求項19に記載の配合物をトランス油として使用する方法。
