空気透過性/不透過性−ガーレー数試験:ガーレー数は次のように得られた。W.& L.E. Gurley & Sonsの製造するGurley デンソメーター(ASTM D726−58)によって、空気流に対するサンプルの抵抗を測定した。水の圧力損失が1.215kN/m2において、6.54cm2の試験サンプルを100cm3の空気が通過する秒数である、ガーレー数で結果を報告する。120秒間にわたって空気の通過が観察されない場合、材料は空気不透過性である。
Claims (43)
- 孔壁及び開放した多孔性を有する微多孔質層と、
該微多孔質層の孔壁の少なくとも一部にある多機能性被膜であって、第1の機能性添加剤及び少なくとも1種の追加の機能性添加剤を含む多機能性被膜と
を含んでなり、該微多孔質層が、コーティングされた微多孔質構造部分において、少なくともいくらかの開放した多孔性を保持している、複合材。 - 前記複合材が微多孔質である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記微多孔質層が、延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤が疎油性である、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がフルオロアクリレートを含む、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記少なくとも1種の追加の機能性添加剤がフィラーである、請求項1に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが粒子状である、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが炭素を含む、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが、顔料、金属、金属酸化物及び混合金属酸化物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の材料を含む、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが、被膜の全質量に対して10質量%以下存在する、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが、被膜の全質量に対して5質量%以下存在する、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが、被膜の全質量に対して1質量%以下存在する、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 前記フィラーが、被膜の全質量に対して0.5質量%以下存在する、請求項6に記載の複合材。
- 孔壁及び開放した多孔性を有する微多孔質ポリマーと、
該微多孔質ポリマーの孔壁の少なくとも一部にある多機能性被膜であって、第1の機能性添加剤及び少なくとも1種の追加の機能性添加剤を含む多機能性被膜と
を含んでなり、該微多孔質ポリマーが、コーティングされた部分において、少なくともいくらかの開放した多孔性を保持している、複合材。 - 前記第1の機能性添加剤が、ポリマーと、被膜の全質量に対して、前記被膜の約50%以下の量の少なくとも1種の界面活性剤と、前記微多孔質ポリマーをコーティングするために使用する水性混合物の約30質量%以下の量の、C5−C10直鎖骨格を有する少なくとも1種の水に不溶性のアルコールとを含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記複合材が、少なくとも1つの追加の被膜をさらに含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの追加の被膜が、前記微多孔質ポリマーの気孔を満たさない、請求項16に記載の複合材。
- 前記少なくとも1つの追加の被膜が、前記微多孔質ポリマーの気孔の少なくとも一部を実質的に満たす、請求項16に記載の複合材。
- 前記微多孔質ポリマーが延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤が疎油性である、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がフルオロポリマーである、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がポリフルオロアクリレートである、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がスチレン−ブタジエンコポリマーを含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤が親水性である、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がポリアクリル酸を含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がポリアクリル酸ナトリウムである、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がポリビニルアルコールである、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がポリエチレンイミンである、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がアクリル酸のコポリマーを含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤がアクリルアミドのコポリマーを含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤が界面活性剤を含む、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤が架橋性材料である、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第1の機能性添加剤が弾性である、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が粒子状である、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が炭素である、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が酸化アンチモンである、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が、被膜の全質量に対して10質量%以下存在する、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が、被膜の全質量に対して5質量%以下存在する、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が、被膜の全質量に対して1質量%以下存在する、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 前記第2の機能性添加剤が、被膜の全質量に対して0.5質量%以下存在する、請求項14に記載の複合材。
- 孔壁及び開放した多孔性を有する微多孔質構造を備えた微多孔質層と、
該微多孔質層の孔壁の少なくとも一部にある多機能性被膜であって、第1の機能性添加剤及び少なくとも1種の追加の機能性添加剤を含む多機能性被膜と
を含んでなり、該微多孔質層が、コーティングされた部分において、少なくともいくらかの開放した多孔性を保持しており、該第1の機能性添加剤及び該第2の機能性添加剤の少なくとも一方が、該多機能性被膜を該微多孔質層に結合している、複合材。 - 微多孔質構造体に多機能性被膜を形成する方法であって、
水性湿潤混合物を調製する工程と、
該湿潤混合物に、第1の機能性添加剤及び少なくとも1種の追加の機能性添加剤を添加する工程と、
該微多孔質構造体を該水性湿潤混合物でコーティングする工程と、
そのコーティングした微多孔質材料を加熱して、その材料に被膜を形成する工程と
を含む、方法。 - 微多孔質構造体に多機能性被膜を形成する方法であって、
溶媒湿潤混合物を調製する工程と、
該湿潤混合物に、第1の機能性添加剤及び少なくとも1種の追加の機能性添加剤を添加する工程と、
該微多孔質構造体を該溶媒湿潤混合物でコーティングする工程と、
そのコーティングした微多孔質材料を加熱して、その材料に被膜を形成する工程と
を含む、方法。
