該側枝部分と該側枝血管との相対的位置を観察しつつ、該カテーテルを回転および/または軸方向に配置するステップと、
該側枝部分と該側枝血管とのアラインメントを観察するステップの後に、該人工器官を展開するステップと、
を包含する、方法。 - 観察するステップは、前記側枝血管の開口部の位置を決定するために、前記カテーテル上の撮像トランスデューサにより主血管壁を撮像するステップを包含する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 撮像するステップは、超音波撮像を包含する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 超音波撮像は、前記人工器官の側面部分と位置合わせされたトランスデューサによって実行される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 観察するステップは、前記側枝と位置合わせされた放射線不透過性のプローブにより主分岐壁をプローブするステップを包含する、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記プローブは、前記カテーテルが回転および/または軸方向に配置されるに伴って前記側枝血管へと導かれたときに、該側枝血管の中へ突出する弾性要素である、請求項17に記載の方法。
