- 前記マーカの長さは約1ミリメートルである、請求項43に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- 前記外側シースの外側層は、前記第2のポリマーに結合された第4のポリマーと、前記第4のポリマーに結合された第5のポリマーとを有し、前記第5のポリマーは、ナイロン75Dである、請求項36〜44の何れか1項に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- 前記第2のポリマーは、10ミリメートルよりも長い軸線方向長さを有し、前記第2のポリマー及び前記第4のポリマーは、少なくとも80ミリメートルの距離にわたって軸線方向に延びる、請求項43に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- 前記第2のポリマー及び前記第5のポリマーは、少なくとも20ミリメートルの長さにわたって軸線方向に延びる、請求項43に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- 前記第4のポリマーは、前記第1のポリマーのジュロメータ及び前記第3のポリマーのジュロメータの何れかよりも大きいジュロメータを有する、請求項43に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- 前記外側シースの内側層は、近位部分と、遠位部分と、前記近位部分と前記遠位部分との間において延びる少なくとも1つの中間部分とを有し、前記遠位部分は、熱可塑性ポリマーで作られ、前記近位部分は、ポリイミドナイロンで作られ、前記中間部分は、PEBAX(登録商標)6333及びPEBAX(登録商標)7233の一方である、請求項36〜48の何れか1項に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- 前記外側シースの内側層の前記近位部分、前記遠位部分、及び前記少なくとも1つの中間部分は、別々の部分であり、各部分が別々のジュロメータを有する、請求項49に記載のインプラント配送装置。
- インプラント配送装置の外側シースを形成する方法であって、
遠位端部を有する管状膜をマンドレル上に形成する工程と、
前記マンドレルを前記遠位端部の中を通して引く工程と、を有する方法。 - 前記遠位端部は先端部を含む、請求項51に記載の方法。
- 前記マンドレルを引く前記工程は、前記先端部に開口を形成するように前記マンドレルを前記先端部の中を通して引く工程を含む、請求項51に記載の方法。

更に、前記第1のポリマーと前記第2のポリマーとの間に介在させた第3のポリマーを有し、前記第3のポリマーは、前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記第1の長さよりも短い第3の長さにわたって延び、
更に、前記第1のポリマー及び前記第2のポリマーの一方に隣接したマーカを有する、カテーテルシース。 - 前記マーカは、前記第1のポリマーと前記第2のポリマーとの間に配置されたマーカを含む、請求項55に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記マーカは、前記第1のポリマー、前記第2のポリマー、及び前記第3のポリマーに隣接した放射線不透過性物質を有する、請求項56に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 更に、前記第2のポリマーと前記第3のポリマーとの間に配置された編組体を有する、請求項55に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記編組体は、円筒形状に編組された金属ワイヤを有する、請求項58に記載のカテーテルシース。

前記外側層は、第1のポリマーと、前記第1のポリマーのジュロメータよりも大きいジュロメータを有する第2のポリマーと、編組体を前記第1のポリマー及び前記第2のポリマーに結合させるように前記第1のポリマーと前記第2のポリマーとの間に配置された少なくとも1つの第3のポリマーと、を有するカテーテルシース。 - 前記第1のポリマー及び前記第2のポリマーは、PEBAX(登録商標)であり、前記第3のポリマーは、PETを含む、請求項60に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記第1のポリマーは、前記遠位部分と前記少なくとも1つの中間部分との間に配置される、請求項60に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記第1のポリマーは、少なくとも1つの肩部を含み、前記第2のポリマーは、前記第1のポリマーを前記第2のポリマーに結合させるように前記肩部に係合する、請求項60に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 更に、前記内側層の間に配置された編組体を更に有し、前記編組体は、金属ワイヤで作られ、前記金属ワイヤの直径は、約0.05ミリメートルであり、前記編組体は、交差部が直線1インチ(2.54cm)当たり45個である密度を有する、請求項60〜63の何れか1項に記載のカテーテルシース。

- 更に、少なくとも1つのマーカを有し、前記少なくとも1つのマーカは、前記第3のポリマーに当接するように前記編組体の末端から約1.5ミリメートルの距離のところに配置される、請求項64〜66の何れか1項に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記マーカの長さは約1ミリメートルである、請求項67に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記外側シースの外側層は、前記第2のポリマーに結合された第4のポリマーと、前記第4のポリマーに結合された第5のポリマーとを有し、前記第5のポリマーは、ナイロン75Dである、請求項60〜68の何れか1項に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記第2のポリマーは、10ミリメートルよりも長い軸線方向長さを有し、前記第2のポリマー及び前記第4のポリマーは、少なくとも80ミリメートルの距離にわたって軸線方向に延びる、請求項69に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記第2のポリマー及び前記第5のポリマーは、少なくとも20ミリメートルの長さにわたって軸線方向に延びる、請求項69又は70に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記第4のポリマーは、前記第1のポリマーのジュロメータ及び前記第3のポリマーのジュロメータの何れかよりも大きいジュロメータを有する、請求項69〜71の何れか1項に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記外側シースの内側層は、近位部分と、遠位部分と、前記近位部分と前記遠位部分との間において延びる少なくとも1つの中間部分とを有し、前記遠位部分は、熱可塑性ポリマーで作られ、前記近位部分は、ポリイミドナイロンで作られ、前記中間部分は、PEBAX(登録商標)6333及びPEBAX(登録商標)7233の一方である、請求項60〜72の何れか1項に記載のカテーテルシース。
- 前記外側シースの内側層の前記近位部分、前記遠位部分、及び前記少なくとも1つの中間部分は、別個の部分であり、各部分が別個のジュロメータを有する、請求項73に記載のカテーテルシース。
