Claims (16)
- 多数の単位電池を電気的に連結し、高出力大容量の電気を充放電できるモジュールであり、充放電可能な二次電池である多数の単位電池が積層されるプレートと、電池の作動を制御する回路部とを備えてなる、二次電池モジュール。
- 前記ケースが、積層された各単位電池の上部及び下部をそれぞれ覆う分離型構造となっており、各単位電池を容易に搭載するために、単位電池の大きさに相応する収納部が下部及び/または上部ケースに形成されてなるものである、請求項1に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記各単位電池が順次積層される上端収納部を含む下部ケースと、
前記下部ケース上に積層された各単位電池の上端を覆う下端収納部を含む上部ケースと、
積層された各単位電池の電気的連結を行い、電池の電圧、電流及び/または温度を検出するセンシングボードアセンブリを含む第1回路部と、
前記第1回路部と電気的に連結され、モジュールを全般的に制御するメーンボードアセンブリを含む第2回路部と、
前記第2回路部に電気的に連結され、過電流、過充電及び/または過放電を防止しながら外部出力端子に連結される第3回路部とを備えてなる、請求項2に記載の二次電池モジュール。 - 前記二次電池が、パウチ型電池である、請求項1に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記各単位電池の間には、両面接着部材が介在されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記重畳された各単位電池のうち最外郭の単位電池と上部ケースとの間には、前記単位電池の極板と平行をなして板状の高強度安全部材が装着されてなる、請求項3に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記各単位電池の電極端子が、板状型端子であり、前記各単位電池の電極端子には締結用貫通口が形成され、前記貫通口を連結する締結部材が上部ケース及び下部ケースに結合されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 隣接した各単位電池の電極端子を電気的に絶縁するために前記各電極端子の間に介在され、前記締結用貫通口に締結される突出部を有する絶縁性部材と、前記絶縁性部材に締結され、前記絶縁性部材に締結された各単位電池の電極端子を直列または並列方式で電気的に連結するコネクティング部材とを備えてなる、請求項7に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記締結用突出部には、前記電極端子の貫通口より小さい内径の貫通口が形成され、各単位電池の間に絶縁性部材をそれぞれ介在した状態で各単位電池を積層し、前記締結用突出部の貫通口に締結部材を挿入することで、単位電池が互いに連結されてなる、請求項8に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記第1回路部が、単位電池を並列または直列に連結するためのコネクティング部材と、各単位電池から電圧及び電流信号を受信し、電池の温度を検出するためのセンシングボードアセンブリとを備えてなる、請求項3に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記各コネクティング部材の間には、過電流または過熱の発生時に電流を遮断する安全素子が連結されてなる、請求項10に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記第1回路部が、各単位電池の電極端子方向にモジュールの側面に付着され、
前記第2回路部が、下部ケースの下端収納部に装着され、
前記第3回路部が、電極端子の対向側であるモジュールの他側面に付着されてなる、請求項3に記載の二次電池モジュール。 - 前記第3回路部には、充電及び放電の発生時の過電流を制御するスイッチング素子が備えられてなる、請求項3に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記第3回路部が、二次電池モジュールの充放電を制御するためのスイッチング素子と、前記スイッチング素子に連結される放熱構造物とを備えたスイッチングボードで構成されてなる、請求項13に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記スイッチング素子が、FET素子である、請求項14に記載の二次電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュールが、電気自転車、電気オートバイ、電気自動車またはハイブリッド電気自動車の電源として用いられてなる、請求項1に記載の二次電池モジュール。
