Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 충방전이 가능한 판상형 이차전지 셀('전지셀') 다수 개로 구성된 전지모듈의 일측에 장착되어 외부와의 전기적 접속을 행하는 인터페이스로서,후면에 전지모듈과의 접속을 위한 전원 커넥터와 통신 커넥터('후면 커넥터')가 형성되어 있고, 전면에 외부회로와의 접속을 위한 전원 커넥터와 통신 커넥터('전면 커넥터')가 형성되어 있는 인쇄 회로 기판; 및상기 인쇄 회로 기판의 후면 커넥터가 노출될 수 있는 개구가 천공되어 있고, 인쇄 회로 기판을 후면으로부터 감싸는 구조로 인쇄 회로 기판에 결합되어 있는 외장 플레이트;를 포함하는 것으로 구성된 전지모듈 인터페이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 후면의 전원 커넥터와 통신 커넥터는, 전지모듈의 일측에 대한 접속과 장착을 용이하게 수행할 수 있도록, 상호 인접한 위치에서 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈 인터페이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전면의 전원 커넥터는, 외부회로와의 접속 작업을 용이하게 할 수 있도록, 양극 커넥터와 음극 커넥터가 큰 이격 폭으로 배열되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈 인터페이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 외장 플레이트는 인쇄 회로 기판의 양 측면을 감싸도록 절곡되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈 인터페이스.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항 중 어느 하나에 따른 전지모듈 인터페이스가 장착된 구조의 전지모듈.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 전지모듈들은,전지셀들이 순차적으로 적층되는 상단 수납부를 포함하고 있는 장방형의 하부 케이스;상기 하부 케이스 상에 적층된 전지셀들의 상단을 덮을 수 있는 하단 수납부를 포함하고 있는 장방형의 상부 케이스;적층된 전지셀들의 전기적 연결을 행하고, 전지의 전압 및/또는 전류를 검출하는 센싱 보드 어셈블리를 포함하는 제 1 회로부;상기 제 1 회로부와 전기적으로 연결되어 있고, 모듈을 전반적으로 제어하는 메인 보드 어셈블리를 포함하고 있는 제 2 회로부; 및상기 제 2 회로부에 전기적으로 연결되어 있고, 과전류를 방지하면서 외부 출력 단자와 연결하는 제 3 회로부;를 포함하는 구성으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 회로부는 전지셀들을 병렬 또는 직렬로 연결하기 위한 연결단자들과 각각의 전지셀로부터 전압 및 전류 신호를 수신하고 전지의 온도를 검출하기 위한 센싱 보드 어셈블리를 포함하고 있고, 전지셀들의 전극단자 방향으로 모듈의 전면에 부착되어 있으며;상기 제 2 회로부는 상부 케이스에 부착되어 있으며;상기 제 3 회로부는 충전 및 방전시의 과전류를 제어하는 스위칭 소자를 포함하고 있고, 전지셀들의 전극단자 방향의 대향편인 모듈의 후면에 부착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 제 3 회로부가 부착되어 있는 모듈의 후면에 전지모듈 인터페이스가 장착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 모듈 후면의 일측에는, 전지모듈 인터페이스의 후면 커넥터에 접속되는 전원 커넥터와 통신 커넥터('모듈 커넥터')를 포함하고 있는 접속부재가 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 제 1 회로부의 음극은 와이어에 의해 상기 접속부재의 음극 커넥터에 연결되어 있고, 제 1 회로부의 양극은 와이어에 의해 제 3 회로부를 경유하여 접속부재의 양극 커넥터에 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 제 1 회로부의 센싱 보드 어셈블리 중 전압 등의 검출을 위한 통신 포트는 제 2 회로부를 경유하여 상기 접속부재의 통신 커넥터에 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 모듈 후면의 일측에 제 3 회로부가 위치하고, 그로부터 소정의 이격 거리에 상기 접속부재가 위치하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 접속부재는 'ㄱ'자 구조의 지지대 상에 전지모듈 인터페이스의 방향으로 상기 모듈 커넥터가 탑재되고, 지지대의 후면에는 전지모듈과 기계적 결합을 할 수 있는 돌기 형태의 결합부가 형성되어 있는 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지모듈.
- 제 5 항에 따른 전지모듈 다수 개로 구성된 고출력 대용량의 중대형 전지팩.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 전지모듈들은 그것의 전지모듈 인터페이스를 통해 직렬 및/또는 병렬 방식으로 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 중대형 전지팩.
- 제 14 항에 있어서, 상기 전지팩은 전기자동차의 충방전 전원으로 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 중대형 전지팩.
