Description
Claims (19)
- 取付用の孔を有する、超硬合金に設けられた超硬質材料又は超硬質材料の基部を備え、前記孔が前記基部に設けられたインレイで形成された切削インサート。
- 前記基部が、超硬合金と、焼結によって前記超硬合金に設けられた超硬質材料の層と、を含む請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記孔インレイ体が、ろう付けによって前記基部に設けられた請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記孔インレイが超硬合金で構成されている請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記超硬質材料が立方晶窒化硼素又は多結晶ダイヤモンドである請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記超硬質層がチップブレーカ部分を含む請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記孔インレイが前記基部の下に配置された部分を含む請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記部分が工具ホルダの対応する形状部分に嵌合するように形成されている請求項7に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記孔インレイ、工具ホルダの対応する形状部分に嵌合するように形成された部分を含む請求項7に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記部分が前記切削インサートの上面に配置されている請求項9に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記部分が前記切削インサートの下面に配置されている請求項10に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記切削インサートの中心軸が前記インサートの軸に垂直でない請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記孔インレイの中止軸が前記取付孔の軸に垂直でない請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 超硬質材料の層を形成することと、
超硬質材料又は超硬合金基材に前記層を設けること、
前記層を貫通する孔を形成すること、
前記孔に予め成形された孔インレイを設けること、
を備える切削インサートを製造する方法。 - 前記予め成形された孔インレイが、円錐形状の貫通孔を有する請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記基材は超硬合金であり、前記層は焼結によって前記基材に設けられている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記予め成形された孔インレイがろう付けによって設けられている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記層及び前記基材の両方が超硬質材料で作られている請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記予め成形された孔インレイが、工具ホルダの対応する形状に形成されたキャビティに嵌合するように形成された部分を含んでいる請求項14に記載の方法。
