Description

l0 15 20 25 30 35 Enligt metoden för föreliggande uppfinning förses ett hårdmetallskär i minst ett av sina hörn med en urtagning innefattande minst en sidoyta och en bottenyta. Enlig uppfinningen är bottenytan av urtagningen försedd med rillor med en höjd h=50- 100 um, bredd w=100-200 um och med ett avstånd mellan rillorna av l=O.75-1.25 mm. Om urtagningen har en enkel form kan den vara tillverkad genom slipning före eller efter sintring genom användning av ett sliphjul med lämplig profil. Mer komplexa former måste tillverkas i pressningsoperationen. Av hállfasthetsskäl och även vid slipning för att få ut något av sliphjulet, har urtagningen alltid en hörnradie. En CBN- eller PCB- skärspets med lämplig form placeras i urtagningen i kontakt med rillorna och löds fast i urtagningen enligt konventionella lödmetoder.
Slutligen rengörs skäret genom slipning för att avlägsna överflödigt lödmaterial.
Föreliggande uppfinning har beskrivits med avseende på kroppar av CBN eller PCB men det är uppenbart att uppfinningen även kan användas för keramiska kroppar i allmänhet.
Exempel Skär försedda med skärspetsar av CBN av typen CCMW O9T304 tillverkades enligt föreliggande uppfinning. Hårdmetallen hade en komposition av omkring 10 vikt-% Co och resten WC. CBN-skärspetsen var triangulär i formen, och hade en basbredd och höjd av omkring 4 mm. Urtagningen för skärspetsen, omfattande både rillor och hörnets släppningsradie, slipades alla samtidigt. Detta genomfördes genom att använda ett specialdesignat galvaniserat sliphjul, med diamanter som slipmedel. Ett antal urtagningar tillverkades enligt uppfinningen, och på detta sätt skapades en urtagning eller ficka med tre rillor på bottenytan 0.75 pm höga, 100 um vida och 1 mm mellan, se Fig 2. Som referens, tillverkades en annan grupp enligt tidigare känd teknik. Efter att framgångsrikt lött alla skär, mättes delar för att bedöma dess planhet och/eller parallellitet av skärspetsarna. Höjden av skäret mättes vid alla tre hörnen av den triangulära skärspetsen.

Claims (7)

Skär av en huvudsakligen månghörnig form försett med en keramisk skärspets lödd i en urtagning i minst ett av hörnen med en bottenyta och minst en sidoyta k ä n n e t e c k n a t av att bottenytan i urtagningen är försedd med rillor med en höjd h=50- 100 um, bredd w=lO0-200 um och placerade på ett avstånd av l=O.75- l,25 mm.
2. Skär enligt krav l k ä n n e t e c k n a t av att den keramiska skärspetsen består av PCB eller CBN.
3. Metod för tillverkning av ett skär av huvudsakligen mânghörnig form försett med en keramisk skärspets i en urtagning i minst ett av hörnen med en bottenyta och minst en sidoyta k ä n n e t e c k n a d av att bottenytan i urtagningen förses med rillor med en höjd av h=50-100 pm, bredd w=lOO-200 pm och placerade på ett avstånd av l=0.75-1.25 mm.
