- 少なくとも第1の基材上に、第1の電極、及び、第2基板と貼合後に第2の電極上に形成された層と貼合されエレクトロルミネッセンス素子を構成する層及びラミネートフィルムが積層された第1基板、と、少なくとも第2の基材上に、第2の電極、及び、第1基板と貼合後に第1の電極上に形成された層と貼合されてエレクトロルミネッセンス素子を構成する層が積層された第2基板、とを貼合してエレクトロルミネッセンス素子を形成する製造方法において、
少なくとも第1基板を枚葉に形成後、前記ラミネートフィルムを剥離し、その後第1基板と第2基板をそれぞれ電極を対向させ貼合することを特徴とするエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。 - 第1基板に対して減圧ローラーを利用してラミネートフィルムと有機層を剥離することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1基板からラミネートフィルムを剥離したのち、前記減圧ローラーが、減圧ローラーの回転に伴って、所定の回転角度で一時的に陽圧になり、第1基板から剥離したラミネートフィルムを減圧ローラーから回収することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1の基材もしくは第2の基材の、少なくとも一方がプラスチックフィルムからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1の基材もしくは第2の基材の、少なくとも一方が(ロール状の)長尺シートからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1基板並びに第2基板ともラミネートフィルムが積層されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1基板並びに第2基板が、カットされ、集積された状態からそれぞれ一枚ずつ供給され、減圧ローラーを通過、位置合わせされ、貼合されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1基板並びに第2基板から剥離されたラミネートフィルムが、減圧ローラーの陽圧タイミングで回収されることを特徴とする請求項6または7に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 第1基板並びに第2基板を吸着する減圧ローラーは、それぞれ各基板の湾曲許容度以上のローラー径を有することを特徴とする請求項2〜8のいずれか1項に記載のエレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
