Abstract
【解決手段】放電ランプは、ガラスバルブ2と、蛍光体膜3と、外部電極4と、放電媒体とを備えている。ガラスバルブ2は、その両端が封着部6a、6bで気密に封着されており、一方の封着部6a内面は、角部Aにおける曲率半径Rが500μm以上の曲面形状である。

実施例1、比較例1〜2
一方の封着部6a内面の角部Aにおける曲率半径Rが、表1に示す値になるように実施例と比較例のガラスバルブ2を作製し、このガラスバルブ2を用いて図1に示した構成の放電ランプ1を作製した。
Claims (1)
- 両端に封着部を有し、前記封着部のうち少なくとも一方は、直線部内面から端部内面に移行する最小曲率半径が500μm以上であるガラスバルブと;
前記ガラスバルブの両端外面に形成された外部電極と;
前記ガラスバルブの内面に被着された蛍光体膜と;
前記ガラスバルブ内に封入された放電媒体と;
を具備することを特徴とする放電ランプ。
