Abstract
【解決手段】車輪用軸受装置1は、外方部材10と、内方部材20と、ころ50とを備えている。内方部材20は、鋼からなり、車輪取り付けフランジ31が形成されたハブ輪30を含んでいる。ハブ輪30は、焼入硬化されることにより、50HRC以上に硬化された硬化部39と、硬化部39以外の部位である非硬化部33とを有している。そして、非硬化部33を構成する鋼のフェライト面積率は、3%以下である。

Claims (8)
- 内周面に環状の外側転走面が複列に形成された外方部材と、
前記外側転走面に対向する環状の内側転走面が複列に形成された内方部材と、
前記外側転走面と、前記内側転走面とに接触し、環状の軌道上に転動自在に配置された転動体とを備え、
前記外方部材または前記内方部材のいずれか一方は、鋼からなり、車輪を取り付けるためのフランジである車輪取り付けフランジが形成された車輪用フランジ付き部材を含み、
前記車輪用フランジ付き部材は、
焼入硬化されることにより、50HRC以上に硬化された硬化部と、
前記硬化部以外の部位である非硬化部とを有しており、
前記非硬化部を構成する前記鋼のフェライト面積率は、3%以下である、車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記車輪用フランジ付き部材には、前記転動体の前記軌道の中心軸を含む領域に、他の部材が挿入されるための挿入穴が形成されており、
前記挿入穴の側壁の表面から1mm以内の領域は、前記非硬化部である、請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記車輪取り付けフランジの、前記車輪取り付けフランジからみて前記車輪が取り付けられる側の付け根部の表面硬さは35HRC以下である、請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材は、
前記車輪用フランジ付き部材であるハブ輪と、
前記ハブ輪に嵌め込まれた内輪とを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記車輪取り付けフランジからみて前記車輪が取り付けられる側とは反対側の前記ハブ輪の端部であるインボード側端部が、径方向外側に塑性変形することにより加締め部を形成しており、
前記加締め部により前記内輪が前記ハブ輪に対して軸方向に固定されている、請求項4に記載の車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記加締め部は、表面硬さが25HRC以下である前記インボード側端部が塑性変形することにより形成されている、請求項5に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記車輪取り付けフランジの、前記車輪取り付けフランジからみて前記車輪が取り付けられる側とは反対側の付け根部の表面硬さは、54HRC以上64HRC以下である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記鋼は、0.40質量%以上0.80質量%以下の炭素を含む中炭素鋼である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
