Abstract
【解決手段】光源14から発生された光を、コリメータレンズ16により平行光線化して格子(第1格子22、第2格子32、第3格子26)に照射するようにされた光学式エンコーダにおいて、前記光源14とコリメータレンズ16の間に拡散手段(拡散板42、拡散面44)を設けて、光平行度を緩和し、2次、3次の高次回折光を弱める。拡散手段は、迷光防止用のアパーチャ40に設けることができる。

Claims (8)
- 光源から発生された光を、コリメータレンズにより平行光線化して格子に照射するようにされた光学式エンコーダにおいて、
前記光源とコリメータレンズの間に拡散手段を設けて、光平行度を緩和したことを特徴とする光学式エンコーダ。 - 前記拡散手段を、迷光防止用のアパーチャに設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学式エンコーダ。
- 前記アパーチャと拡散手段が一体化され、アパーチャの一部が拡散手段とされていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光学式エンコーダ。
- 前記拡散手段を、コリメータレンズの表面に設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光学式エンコーダ。
- 前記格子が、前記コリメータレンズから照射される光を回折する第1格子と、スケールに形成された第2格子と、第1及び第2格子により回折された光を更に回折する第3格子を含む3格子型であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の光学式エンコーダ。
- 前記スケールが反射型とされ、前記第1及び第3格子がスケールの同じ側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光学式エンコーダ。
- 表面の少なくとも一部が拡散面とされていることを特徴とする光学式エンコーダ用のコリメータレンズ。
- アパーチャが形成されたケースに収容されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の光学式エンコーダ用のコリメータレンズ。
