Abstract
【解決手段】 ソフトスタート制御回路116が、出力段のスイッチング素子であるPMOSトランジスタ104の電流を検出する。その電流がPMOSトランジスタ104の電流を制限する電流制限値以上になった場合、ソフトスタート制御回路116が、PMOSトランジスタ104をオフに制御する。よって、PMOSトランジスタ104の突入電流を防止できる。

によって算出される。この電流Irefは、カレントミラー回路により、抵抗205及び抵抗206にも流れる。

によって算出される。また、マイナス端子の電圧Vnは、抵抗206の抵抗値をR3とし、抵抗208の抵抗値をR4とすると、

によって算出される。この時、PMOSトランジスタ210を用いたコンパレータ214により、PMOSトランジスタ104の電流が検出されることになる。

Claims (2)
- ソフトスタート機能を有するスイッチングレギュレータにおいて、
出力段のスイッチング素子と、
前記スイッチング素子の電流を検出する検出回路と、
前記スイッチング素子の電流が前記スイッチング素子の電流を制限する電流制限値以上になった場合、前記スイッチング素子をオフに制御する制御回路と、
を備えていることを特徴とするスイッチングレギュレータ。 - 電源投入時に徐々に前記電流制限値を上昇させる電流制限値制御回路、
をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のスイッチングレギュレータ。
