Abstract
【解決手段】セパレータ20に設けられて反応ガスの流路を形成するリブ21と電極32とを液状封止材で固定し、電極32に含浸した当該液状封止材にて電極32の気孔率を他の部位よりも低減させる。セパレータ20は、液状封止材の余剰分を貯留しておくため、リブ21の頂部よりも厚み方向で窪んだ液状封止材溜まり部22を有していることが好ましい。

Claims (6)
- 電極とセパレータが積層されてなる燃料電池セルであって、
前記セパレータに設けられて反応ガスの流路を形成するリブと前記電極とが液状封止材で固定され、前記電極に含浸した前記液状封止材にて前記電極の気孔率が他の部位よりも低減していることを特徴とする燃料電池セル。 - 互いに同じ方向の流れの隣接する流路間を仕切る第1のリブと、逆向きの流れの隣接する流路間を仕切る第2のリブとを有し、前記液状封止材は前記第2のリブに対してのみ設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池セル。
- 前記液状封止材は前記反応ガスが流れる領域の外郭と前記第2のリブとの接続部分にのみ選択的に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料電池セル。
- 前記セパレータは、前記液状封止材の余剰分を貯留しておくための、リブの頂部よりも厚み方向で窪んだ液状封止材溜まり部を有していることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の燃料電池セル。
- 前記電極のうち、前記液状封止材との間に隙間を有している部分の少なくとも一部については当該電極の端部のみ厚く形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の燃料電池セル。
- 前記電極の端部のうち厚く形成された部分は、当該電極とは別の弾性を有する部材が設けられることによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の燃料電池セル。
